Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My organisation currently uses MindManager to wireframe ideas for different business functions. These include product development, marketing, and event planning. We also plan to expand the use of the product to financial (budget) management and resource planning. MindManager was chosen after product evaluation since it had the essential features needed.

It is well suited for a quick prototype of product/development planning to show relationships amongst the APIs used. This helps developers understand the impact of the product changes and identifies the need to update integration components to avoid erroneous deployments. I have not personally experienced a less appropriate scenario at the moment.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use MindManager for my personal and office use. It allows me to group several pieces of information and find them quickly. However, the only drawback is that not all of MindManager's functions are compatible with Apple tablets. I need to use my computer to utilize the potential of this application fully. This limits its use on the road. This problem should have been solved many years ago. Greetings.

J’utilise mindmanager pour mon usage personnel et au bureau . Il me permet de regrouper plusieurs informations et de les trouver rapidement. Par contre le seul défaut est que l’ensemble des fonctions de Mindmanger ne sont pas utilisables sur des tablette Apple . Je dois utiliser mon ordinateur pour utiliser le plein potentiel de cette application. Cela limite son utilisation sur la route. Ce problème devrait être régler depuis de nombreuses années . I use MindManager for brainstorming, project management and generally for visualizing all kinds of issues. With MindManager, for example, technical connections can be displayed wonderfully. I also use MindManager to create flowcharts or visualize processes with swimlanes. My last project was the creation and clear presentation of a technology competency matrix

Scaling and formatting objects is cumbersome

There are many useful templates such as business model canvas, SWOT analysis, flowcharts or organizational charts that provide a good starting point and can then be easily adapted to your own requirements

I've been using MindManager for about 20 years for a variety of purposes:Project management, event organization, brainstorming, preparing decision-making documents, test organization, and much more.The program is a great help in collecting keywords, ideas, and/or tasks and structuring them neatly. I've had the opportunity to try out other mind mapping programs (both freeware and licensed), but none compares to MindManager in terms of functionality and ease of use.I wouldn't want to be without this tool anymore and can highly recommend it to anyone interested!

Ich nutze den MindManager bereits seit ca. 20 Jahren und das für die verschiedensten Zwecke: Projektmanagement, Eventorganisation, Brainstorming, Vorbereitung von Entscheidungsvorlagen, Testorgansisation u. v. m. Das Programm hilft mir vorbildlich dabei, z. B. Stichworte, Ideen und/oder Aufgaben zu sammeln und sauber zu strukturieren. Ich hatte bereits Gelegenheit, auch andere Mindmapping-Programme (Freeware, aber auch lizenzpflichtige Programme) auszuprobieren, doch beim Funktionsumfang und der unkomplizierten Nutzbarkeit kommt keines an den MindManager heran. Ich möchte das Tool nicht mehr missen und kann es allen Interessierten nur wärmstens empfehlen!

MindManager is the preferred brain-dump software used by lazy executives across the organization.

Pros

It helps me organize thoughts and easily create professional and attractive presentations.
Enables me to run ideas and planning sessions with my team because I can easily record and link their contributions effectively.
Provides me with clear visualisations when I'm drafting new processes.

Cons

I struggle to sync Mindmanager between my work and home computer.
I'm not keen on the constant advertising.
I can't copy and paste into all of the other Apps that I use.

My team and I use MindManager as a planning tool and a progress tracker. Its ability to attach files or items to certain tasks really sets it apart from similar software. The scope of our use case is not that large, though, as we are a small team of six.

MindManager helped me manage multiple projects and to be able to collaborate with others to explain what the project is about and what the goals are. Furthermore, it facilitated the construction of projects by having a visual easy to understand. MindManager has a lot of webinars on its website so you are not left alone to discover how it does work and what you can do with it.
