What is MetaRouter?

MetaRouter is presented by the vendor as a customer data integration solution for security-minded organizations who want to use analytics tools they need, on their own terms. With MetaRouter the user owns the entire data infrastructure, with it deployed on a private cloud, and maintains control of data from the point of ingestion to delivery to a third-party.

While a SaaS option exists for basic customer data integration, the core platform is designed for private deployment: modular, completely cloud- and message queue-agnostic and designed to be custom fit to meet the infrastructure requirements unique to an organization. It even plugs into home-grown systems.

The vendor states that In addition to secure and compliant data streaming, the MetaRouter approach to marketing, analytics and ad browser tags is to re-integrate all of them server-side, which they say will not only increase website performance (often by 5+ cumulative seconds for enterprise) but also improves data accuracy (by about 10-15%).

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is a real usable tool for ecommerce. We wanted to add tools to our site that use data layers. Metarouter model is to map them once then add apps as you need them. we love this solution and can't think of how we would do it without this app.
