Meta still a great option.

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Meta Business Suite to generate leads for our clients and for our business. The problem this product addresses is generating affordable, high-value B2B leads and expanding the reach of our brand and our clients' brands, thereby targeting a large pool of people using Meta Business Suite's targeting options.

Pros

  • Ads building.
  • Budget tracking.
  • General ads performance.

Cons

  • Attribution Metrics.
  • UX of Meta Business Suite.
  • Speed of Business Suite.

Likelihood to Recommend

Meta Business Suite has been highly effective in exposing our brand and our clients' brands to a large audience. It is also one of the most cost-effective ad platforms for B2B marketing campaigns. The issue is filtering out low-quality leads from a B2B lead generation process, as you often receive as many poor-quality leads as high-quality ones.

Meta Business Suite Is Awful for Users and Support is Non-Existent

Rating: 2 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Meta Business Suite because it is required to use it if you use Facebook and Instagram, which we do. It is a way to access social media management and advertising. While we also use third party social media planning tools, sometimes we have no choice but to use Meta Business Suite.

Pros

  • Allows posting to Facebook
  • Sometimes allows posting to Instagram, but not always
  • Sometimes allows access to Ad Manager, but not always

Cons

  • Integrating with Instagram
  • Ease of use for multiple admins
  • They could make it easier to claim a Business Asset
  • Overall it's a bad tool

Likelihood to Recommend

I would only recommend it because it is literally the only choice. There is not other way to give people access to Meta than through the Meta Business Suite, which is full of errors, redundancies, and confusing verbiage. Meta Business Suite support is non-existent, highly incompetent, or incredibly delayed. It's a terrible tool.

Meta Business Suite is well worth the money

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Meta Business Suite daily to manage our paid media presence across Instagram and Facebook for Cuts Clothing. It plays a key role in our content planning, publishing, and performance tracking efforts, especially as we manage multiple product drops, seasonal campaigns, and creator collaborations. We rely on the analytics tools to monitor performance which helps inform future creative strategies and community engagement tactics. Meta Business Suite is definitely a core tool in our digital marketing workflow.

Pros

  • Campaign Management
  • Partnership Ads
  • Ad Insights

Cons

  • Limited functionality for Instagram reels
  • Inaccurate post previews
  • Limited Role-Based permissions

Likelihood to Recommend

Meta Business Suite is great if you are a business that is heavily reliant on paid media performance. It is also a great platform if we are looking to scale paid performance and look to send partnership ads live with existent creators and influencers we are working with.

You have to use it but it's good

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It helps us manage about a dozen business fb pages for clients and helps us quickly flip between them as needed when we're managing ad campaigns and doing social media planning. Additionally, it helps us add and remove team members and give people access to certain features but not others and they get their own secure logins.

Pros

  • User management
  • Ad management
  • Managing multiple pages

Cons

  • Better support
  • Less mumbo jumbo
  • Less legacy systems

Likelihood to Recommend

You pretty much have to use it if you want to be a professional who is managing multiple accounts for both organic and paid social media content. It's less appropriate if you're just managing one account, and less appropriate if you are tech challenged. But if you're a professional it is a must.

Better but still a ways to go.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I'm using the Meta Business Suite to plan, design and complete my marketing objectives from my paid to my non-paid. I'm able to at least integrate those two worlds into a strategy that takes into account the opportunities they both pose. Do they do it perfectly? No, But, for the most part I can make happen what I want.

Pros

  • Scheduling
  • Integration between paid and not paid
  • Ability to be able to cross platforms while using 1 dashboard

Cons

  • It's not uniform across all platforms, yet
  • Seems that certain pieces have more than others
  • The mobile functionality of scheduling, to me, still has a way to go

Likelihood to Recommend

When you are trying to reach a wider spectrum of an audience, I think the Meta Business Suite pieces are great. But, when the scope seems to narrow down, Meta Business Suite's abilities to become more focused seem to dwindle, or you lose the functionality or the features that the broader let you do. This can apply to both the paid and the non-paid. I think it's made a lot of progress in the last 6 months, but I do think it has a ways to still go to where I'm more happy with it.

An Essential if You Use Meta Platforms

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

At my business, we use Meta Business Suite to post most of our content to our social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. We also use this to get insights on what posts perform well and which do not. This helps determine content strategies for the posts we want to make.

Pros

  • Social posting
  • Social Analytics
  • Insight management

Cons

  • Ability to track other platforms that are not meta
  • Ability to post to other non-meta platforms
  • A better appeal process for getting banned

Likelihood to Recommend

If your company uses Meta, you should be on the Meta Business Suite as a business best practice. This will be incredibly helpful for getting direction for your content and for posting your content. The kicker is that the platform is totally free so it doesn't cost much to post on there.

Meta Business Suite is a great tool for large and small businesses alike I highly recommend it

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Meta Business Suite for our non-profit ministry. We schedule posts to update our followers and share information about upcoming events. We also post a daily devotional post. All of these posts are scheduled ahead of time in Meta Business Suite. It is a big help to be able to schedule in advance.

Pros

  • It allows you to add links and photos to your post
  • It allows you to schedule posts ahead of time
  • It gives a nice preview of what your post will look like once it is live
  • It allows you to simultaniously post to Instagram while posting to Facebook

Cons

  • It only allows you to schedule roughly a month in advance (I wish it had a bigger window)
  • It sometimes doesn't post scheduled posts due to errors
  • If you include multiple links in your post, it sometimes pulls a preview from a link you don't want to pull from, and it's hard to switch

Likelihood to Recommend

Meta Business Suite is well suited for businesses and non-profits like the one I help run. It is great for keeping up with messages recieved and sent, scheudling posts and even appoints, and giving page roles to the people you want to invite to help admin your page. It's nice to be able to do everything from one spot.

In my opinion, Smoke and Mirrors - Beware what hides inside Meta Business Suite

Rating: 2 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a wholesale distributor with a large scope and a very active customer base consisting of many SMEs. SMEs who will generally use Meta platforms to market and build awareness of their own services, so our remit for Meta Business Suite was very simple; we want to be where our customers are, engaging with and raising our brand awareness in this space.

Pros

  • Reach - allows us to reach our target audience well
  • Create and run ads - simple to use solution

Cons

  • Protection - our account has been hacked multiple times
  • Responsiveness - it has taken over 4 weeks for Meta to resolve the breach (and at time of writing is still not resolved).
  • Ease-of-use - creating business profiles, ads profiles and pages etc, in my opinion, is a mess. I think this could be simplified.

Likelihood to Recommend

At present - I would not recommend this to anyone. For the simple fact, in my opinion, Meta Business Suite have gotten complacent and due to their monopoly are reluctant to take ownership. In my experience, they quick to help when you want to spend money, they're not so when things go wrong. Ultimately, I think a huge level of cost cutting within the business means they're not able to manage the demand.

You would have thought a severe, multiple breach would be a priority to fix. In my experience, it hasn't been.

How Meta Business Suite can prevent clashes in the office

Rating: 6 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Meta Business Suite is useful for planning and scheduling our posts across Facebook and Instagram. One of the challenges for publishers is ensuring members of a team don't all post content at the same time and undermine their impact. Using Meta Business Suite enables the scheduling of posts and gives a team oversight of the timing of others' posts so they can be spread out appropriately. It can also be easier to post using Meta Business Suite than using separate applications.

Pros

  • Enables easy scheduling of posts on Facebook and Instagram
  • Gives teams oversight of posts by others
  • Makes it easier to find and respond to messages from your audience
  • Enables easy viewing of comments and notifications

Cons

  • The planner enables timings of others' posts to be seen easily, but an easier view of that content (eg by hovering over it) would be preferable
  • Insights gives detailed information on the performance of posts, but could be more intuitive - and it would be helpful if it flagged particularly good performers or practices.
  • Sometimes using @ tags is a little slow - and it's not always easy to tell which ones you want without opening another window and testing them yourself.

Likelihood to Recommend

Meta Business Suite is ideally suited where you want to schedule content and where teams need to see what each other are doing.
It is well suited to assessing the reach, interactions and success of your posts through its Insights, which can help you drive better performance.
It is ideally suited to boosting posts, should you want to.
And it is good for checking and replying to comments, or spotting notifications.
It is well suited for looking at multiple feeds - Facebook and Instagram - at once.
It is currently less well suited if you want to handle Threads as well as Facebook and Instagram.

Clunky UI but gets the job done

Rating: 6 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Meta Business Suite to manage our various business pages as well as to advertise to customers across both Facebook and Instagram. We use the advertising to promote our pages as well as run ads for our products and mobile apps. We use direct-app campaigns as we see fit

Pros

  • Advertise
  • Promote
  • Organize

Cons

  • User Interface
  • Support
  • Uniformity

Likelihood to Recommend

For the most part Meta Business Suite is a pretty good way to get exposure for your page and/or advertising for your products. In my opinion, over the years the platform has become a little more clunky and overwhelming and the User Interface overall has become very confusing because the backend organization is chaotic and for me it's very hard to find the tools you need that used to be easier to access.
