MessageBird SMS is a scalable messaging API that can handle high traffic communications. It is designed for a range of use cases, such as customer support, security (two-factor authentication), marketing campaigns, notifications, reminders, and alerts, and internal communication with employees. MessageBird SMS supports all characters including emojis, rich media messages as well as text, two-way messaging, email to SMS capabilities, localized phone numbers, etc.
For outbound messages (one way) in the U.S., MessageBird charges $0.005, but inbound messages are free. Outside of the U.S., the price for two-way messaging is $0.50 per number per month.
