I use memoQ for my translation needs in relation to some agencies. I find all features extremely useful in accelerating and streamlining the translation process. I particularly like the filter features, along with the resource management options, including term bases and translation memories, which provide a successful organisation for all clients.

MemoQ is especially useful when working in tandem with established translation agencies. The network access is one of the best and allows users to collaborate in projects easily. I would recommend memoQ in that manner, as I have always found it very intuitive and easy to use. All functionalities provided are a must for translators in the industry.
We use memoQ as one of the main CAT tools for localization projects. We have the memoQ Cloud Server and also some separate desktop licenses for our PMs. The Cloud server gives us extra translator licenses so our translators do not need to purchase memoQ to complete the translations. We use memoQ for a variety of clients with different needs.
Pros
Processing difficult files for translation, such as multi-lingual excel files.
Very good and easy to work translation editor in the desktop version.
Regex tagger to tag strings using regular expressions.
Cons
Selection of multiple segments is not possible (you can select multiple segments that are following each other by holding down the shift key but not randomly selected segments by holding the Ctrl key or so).
Make it easier to use filter configurations of a file already used in a project when adding a new file of the same type.

I believe memoQ is the best CAT tool of all the ones I have tested. As a PM, it has a lot of file filters that are highly customizable. You can even use cascading filters to add extra filter settings to the default file filter. Also, the use of REGEX is almost available everywhere in memoQ. You can use regex for filenames, regex for tagging items in files, regex when importing items, regex when exporting translations, regex for QA checking, regex for filtering, etc. They also added a regex library so you can save your favorite regex and easily reuse them. From a translator's point of view, the LiveDocs functionality is something that no other CAT tool has (to my knowledge). With LiveDocs you can just add any type of document, and if it has selectable text, memoQ will search this text as if it were a TM while translating. Even for non-bilingual documents, this is really helpful as you can sometimes need to reference other materials while translating.
I use MemoQ as a day-to-day translation tool for my team use. The tool is great for the price point. I believe that there could be some visuals and graphic changes done to make the tool better. In total, I would say it is an 8 out of 10 tool for daily use.

For a minimum translation project with up to 50K words, Memo has done great for me. I have used memoQ in different source file translations, and it did well. I am glad that this tool accepts a good variety of source files, and if you have fancy files, this tool has some connectors, as well.
We are using memoQ regularly but only for certain accounts. It’s not our main CAT tool and mostly we are using it as per our clients’ requests. It’s a good option with a cloud feature, but it can be quite slow sometimes.
Pros
Online projects feature
Detailed customization such as project templates
Various export options such as plain, XLIFF, RTF, etc.
Cons
Sometimes the program gets really slow and we experienced this with different PCs
The multilingual TMs should not be separate. TM management gets complicated with this program.
TM matches can get duplicates. It doesn’t overwrite and I believe there is no option to customize this. After that, you can only use the remove duplicate option.

If you don’t have many projects, TMs installed memoQ is okay to use. But in our case, the server sometimes gets really slow for us and for our translators. Multilingual project management and TM management are not so smooth as well, especially if you have over 20 languages to manage.
