MediaValet is a great product when used with a larger company and cross-functionally between departments. For example, our corporate and product marketing teams design and create official assets, product images, logos, etc. that other teams like mine, retail marketing, may utilize in our line of work and feature on our retail marketing pieces. It's a great spot to have everything live where it is accessible to all.
MediaValet is a convenient, organized one stop shop for all of our marketing assets. From mailers, digital ads, to brochures we use MediaValet to house all our marketing items we use on a daily basis. We also can send specific assets to clients and setup permissions in use cases where we only want stuff to be viewable.

It is super organized and easy to navigate. I love how you can view multiple assets in a particular folder or category all at once. I also appreciate that you can download an asset easily in one click. One thing I would love to see is a better search feature and an ability to see recently downloaded items. Also would love a way to start my most used items.

It is well suited for providing and sharing specific approved campaign assets internally and externally. It has allowed us to layout campaigns in an easy to understand way while also directing customers on how we believe they should take advantage of the assets.
Ideally searching for assets would be a little easier. You need to be very specific and often times things we search for don't always show up.
MediaValet is a great way for us to store our marketing assets. Our marketing reps can go in there to view different marketing pieces and photos, logos, etc to use within our marketing. It is also an easy place for us to share assets with customers using lightboxes and portals.

MediaValet has been an incredible program to manage all our marketing assets internally. It creates a source of truth for our company on what marketing assets, photos, logos are the most up to date and available to use. We have also significantly benefited from the CDN link feature!
I really enjoy MediaValet. It is so extremely easy to use for our internal teams but also to send assets to external users. It truly helps make us easy to do business with when working with our retail partners.

The CDN links we have been using are extremely nice but adding a "go live" date in would be a nice feature. We have large product launches where we cannot display assets until a certain date. Not having the availability to change out these asset and set a date in which we want the asset to "go-live" for a date in a future is hard.
You can duplicate an entire portal but it would be nice to be able to duplicate sections of a portal.

MediaValet has really allowed our team to have a "one-stop shop" for all assets they may be needing. It allows us to also create different portals for specific initiatives and that has really helped us be able to share these assets with our clients. The ease of use for this tool as well is great. It is very intuitive and really once we get a user up and running, the ability to learn the tool comes very quickly! Highly recommend.
MediaValet makes it extremely easy to share assets with other employees within the credit union and vendors outside of the organization. With just a link, we're able to share relevant images and videos with others, saving everyone involved time. Before, we would have had to take the time to compose emails and ensure they were going to the correct people.

We've recently created a booklet for our organization. This project involved staying in touch with multiple vendors to ensure the correct art was used in the correct places. Thanks to MediaValet, we were able to create portals so these vendors could easily download and upload the correct art without spending time composing emails to do the same thing.
We are able to effectively and efficiently control external vendors' access to marketing and media content. We are able to do the same internally to ensure brand consistency throughout the organisation. MediaValet has been very helpful with transferring media assets being sent by our external media agencies without having to worry about format and connectivity issues (We were getting sent external drives at one point)

Easier editing of keywords. If I have a keyword that says "01. colour" and I just want it to say "colour" I can not edit that and have it stay connected to the image. That is super annoying.

MediaValet is a foundational tool to our enterprise, just behind my camera and computer. I have logged tens of thousands of pictures across two years. it is an invaluable tool for organizing and distributing a large collection of videos and images. It allows me and my photographic partner to populate a site used by hundreds of end users. End users find the system intuitive, and we are freed from office and distribution time to go take more stunning pictures of Arkansas.

We have SO many images in the system, that sometimes our good work is buried under the average. I would like a way to bring certain images to the top of the search.
Some search terms are not very effective because they pull up too much. For example, I need to find photos of the Arkansas River. But not every picture in our system is of a river in Arkansas! (There are ways to get around this, but it takes some extra steps.)
We might have set up our initial structure a little differently had we known how we were going to use it. Essentially we have some pictures for insiders eyes, and some for public use. (We can separate our offerings on upload, but a toggle switch would be useful)

MediaValet is an exceptional tool for our end users. We upload the images and they find them. Most often with great ease. Had we known how many images we would be adding, and our different audiences from the start, we might have set up our file structure a little differently.
We use MediaValet as our DAM. It holds all of our pictures, videos, marketing materials, and more. My boss is afraid of data corruption and losing everything on our system so that is the main reason why we purchased the DAM. Just in case anything goes wrong with our computers or system, we have a backup in the DAM. It also saves us space on our computers not having to save big files.

I would love to have an improved MediaValet app. People send me pictures to my phone that need to go into the DAM, and it would be easier for me to upload from my phone rather than email to myself and then upload on the computer.
I would love to see upload dates displayed when searching for photos to add to the Portals I create.
I wish the delete feature didn't delete ALL of the pictures, even when they're in different categories.
It would be cool to somehow integrate MediaValet as a folder on the computer like dropbox.

I don't have any problems with MediaValet. There was a time when my connection would drop a lot to MediaValet but that has since been resolved. MediaValet has been great in helping us upload hundreds of historical photos at one time and other files. The keyword feature is amazing. Rather than having to look for files by name, we can search keywords. I guess if I have to have a problem with MediaValet, it would be not having quick access to it. That's me just being nitpicky though. When I'm working, saving files, and opening files, I would love to have an integrated MediaValet file on my computer that gives me access to all my files that have been uploaded to MediaValet. I'm not sure how hard that would be to add in something like dropbox.
We are a wholesale agency and importer in the Canadian fashion industry that needed a better solution to store and share our digital assets. I came across MediaValet as I was doing research for the right DAM system for our company. Apparently our use case was quite unique compared to most clients that were already using MediaValet's services. Julie, our Technical Support Specialist, had lots of great ideas and we managed to organize our DAM in the most user-friendly way for our internal team, as well as the retailers we work with externally.

There isn't much that comes to mind, however we'd love to see the option of allowing multiple downloads in the form of a zip file or downloading by section for Branded Portals.

Not only are our assets more organized, but they offer a lot more information such as reporting within the system.
