Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have multiple PACs from Vertiv as our Data Center cooling solution. We have a grid of 10 PACs running active and a grid of 10 that are kept as backup. They are switched from passive to active and active to passive from time to time for servicing, dry run tests, etc.

Pros

  • The user interface is great.
  • Troubleshooting issues is easy.
  • The service and support from Vertiv is great.

Cons

  • The cost of managing these from AMC is a bit too high.
  • Support and service personnel sometimes need some things from the site that they should be carrying in the first place.

Most Important Features

  • The ability to run continuously for long period of time.
  • Easy to use interface, Service alerts, Malfunction alerts in advance.
  • Ease of raising tickets and quality pf service.

Return on Investment

  • We had Vertiv helping us with our cooling solution for a long time and we are quite satisfied with the service.
