As resellers of TV's we constantly evaluate our competitor's products; as part of this evaluation, we often look into LG's outstanding technologies. We also own a few LG DVLED TV's in our conference rooms. We have found out that DVLED panels last longer and emit less heat than LCD panels. They are also lighter.

Let me start by saying we did not purchase the LG Direct View LED, but we seriously considered it. Ultimately, it came down to cost. The display is incredible; we met with a sales team (because you cannot just order these from the website right now) for a medium-sized dvled screen for our front entrance. The LEDs really are dazzling and we wanted an impressive entrance for our firm. But the cost was too high for a medium-sized business like ours.

Pros

Comes in 2K or 4K.
Serves essentially as a projector and a really fantastic TV/screen.

Cons

Cost is high, including installation.
Unit generates a lot of heat, which matters in a small room.

Ability to project and be a traditional screen.
Fully contrasting and bright lights for the display (helpful for sharing detailed images).
Impress clients with display near entrance.

Return on Investment

Allow user to have projector and screen in one (space saver).
Impress and retain clients.
But very expensive (and ultimately too expensive for us).

In my organization we are currently using the LG Direct View Led in all of the meeting rooms to share screens and make presentations of our work.
The need of having a perfect screen is crucial since it gives a good image of our values as a company and what we can afford. I mention the "afford" word since this is one of the best screens you can find right now on the market.
