We used Lead Forensics to track businesses coming to one of our clients' websites, as it is very much a B2B product that they are trying to sell. We used this information from Lead Forensics to inform their small two-person sales team and arm them with the necessary contacts to reach out to them with.
Pros
Customer Service. [...] has been fantastic to work with.
User-Friendly. The platform/dashboard is very user friendly which was wonderful in our use case with bringing on a client that was looking to gain insights right away.
Cons
When searching for a contact under a specific business, it would be great to be able to search by location. Currently, you can only search by Job Title or Full Name.

Lead Forensics is well suited in any situation where you are looking to maximize insights on visits to your website from a business. We will consider Lead Forensics for all of our new clients that are very B2B heavy.
We use it to identify visits to the website. We use visitor behavior to identify leads for active marketing campaigns. By reviewing the site activity and industry, we have a system of prioritizing leads.
Pros
Quality of visitor information
Ease of use
Integration to CRM (HubSpot)
Cons
Pulling contact information
Missing built-in integration to the CRM

We conducted a campaign for an industry. With Lead Forensics, we could see the companies and regions where the campaign drove people to the website. From this, we built an effective follow-up campaign using account-based marketing.
We use Lead Forensics to identify new potential customers. It allows us to gear our pitch to their specific needs or what they are considering in the moment. It allows us to work well with our existing client base to identify additional needs. We have also been able to use the Contacts feature to get email addresses, phone numbers, and locations. It links us to their Linkedin profiles which is great.
Pros
Lead Generation by identifying the new traffic to our website.
Customer retention by identifying the pages they visit so we understand their needs prior to contact
It provides the contact information
It identifies individuals in the roles I am searching
Cons
It would be nice to integrate with Outlook
It would be nice if it acted more like a CRM
It needs to provide more accurate personnel info as sometimes people have been gone for years

Lead Forensics was especially effective in identifying returning visitors from existing customer accounts. This allowed me to proactively reach out, understand their interests based on web activity, and successfully expand the scope of services they were already purchasing. It's less appropriate for brand-new lead generation, as it doesn’t capture anonymous traffic without prior engagement or recognizable IP data.
We use Lead Forensics to gain better insights into our marketing efforts. It allows us to see which companies are visiting our website and what they do when they get there and to share that data with our sales team for intent-driven follow-up.
Pros
Visitor insights - Showing us who is visiting our site, how they got there, and what they do while they're there.
Ad spend insights - Which of our campaigns are driving results to our website.
Customer data - We know if our current or past clients are on our site, and can provide information to our account reps for follow up.
Cons
Contact exports directly to CRM

The platform is user friendly and I have found it well suited for insights and proving the ROI of our ads.
I am a business development representative and use Lead Forensics to check on any businesses within our ICP who click on website and spend time viewing white papers etc. i find this a fantastic tool which i have had much success with determining if they have a project or not a good way of getting into the business on a warmer level than completely cold, using this i have created pipeline for the sales team which ultimately is my job to do, i use it daily in my job and find it easy to use/ navigate.
I would recommend this to any other business/ BDRs out there.
Pros
finding businesses who have clicked on website/ visited
detail of what they have looked at and how long for
make my job easier as creating a warmer lead
easy to navigate
Cons
when adding a current list of companies we already have to prevent them appearing on my lists
improve CRM
Likelihood to Recommend
really well suited for BDRs and anyone outbound calling to generate pipeline

It gives us access to the list of people visited our website and what particular page. It also gives me the access to the list of contacts of that particular organization.
Pros
visitor's time on a particular company web page
list of contacts of any organization that visited the website
email addresses of the leads
Cons
instead of the just company name if we could know which person visited our website would be great
dashboard has limited information, it would be nice to have more details of the visitor & the company
Customizable dashboard options as per the matrix & trends
Likelihood to Recommend
Best suited - To know which organization is visiting your website Less suited - if this information is of no use to you unless you know the name of the person

Lead Forensics helps our business in a number of ways. It helps us identify not just leads, but the correct leads for our business, fitting the correct customer profile that we are looking to target our marketing activities to. Specifically, it helps us identify what channels our leads come from, also helping us with reporting.
We use Lead Forensics to view website visits and then reach out to our ideal prospects for lead generation.
Pros
Provides locations of prospects
Provides the web address
Provides the company size
Cons
My labels don't stick if we get another hit from the same company
It would be amazing to know the person or title of the visitor
A more specific employee count
Likelihood to Recommend
Lead Forensics is good for gauging interest on an overall level but for specific leads, it's tough because you don't know who is looking at your website

We wanted a better understanding of who was going on our website, how long they were spending on our website and what they were looking at while they were there. Lead Forensics gives us that capability. It allows us to track whether visits to our websites are customers or prospects and if they visit more than once.
Pros
Identifying which companies are on our website
The onboarding and customer experience was very good
Helps us analyse the journey visitors take on our website
Cons
The sales process was quite full on.

I think there are limitations to what it can do, and I wouldn't believe the sales pitch for how many leads it will generate. But if you are realistic about what you want from it (in our case this was to gain a better understanding of who is on our website) it is a good tool.
We are an appointment setting agency, our typical client wants to be in front of c-suite and owners. At some point I could see us making the use of LF mandatory for our campaigns. We typically see an increase of rate of appointment by 2x-3x but have also seen an improvement in appointment rate to 5x that of a cold list. It makes sense, if someone is our looking and end up on your site (congratulations marketing), you need to know about it. We use Lead Forensics to do several things. We identify companies that come to the website that are not already being marketed to, if they profile like a great fit, we contact them within 48 hours. We monitor all of our marketing lists watching which companies are interacting with our website and notify our SDRs immediately. We also use it as a leading indicator of our paid ads. There are many different tools on the market and we've tried most of them. LF has the most comprehensive database and provides the greatest hit rate. The data manager is imperative to our success, most tools don't have that ability.
Pros
Company Identification at a higher rate than other tools we have tried
Data Manager to allow you to monitor specific lists of companies
Daily summary reports to Sales and Immediate notification to SDRs
Cons
Would love more granularity in the industry classifications
Adding some level of Intent data to identify companies that are searching but not finding your site
Likelihood to Recommend
If you sell into larger organizations ($25M and larger) or into the public sector, LF provides a high level of hit results. If your key audience is small business, this tool may not be a good fit. Many small companies don't pay for static IP addresses and their company information is typically harder to find in any data tool.
