Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used the Layer2 connectors for integrating our external committee members with our SharePoint 2019. I have a client where thousands of external members regularly access the SharePoint websites and integrating all external users with the SharePoint was an issue and we had resolved this integration with the Layer2 cloud connector.

Pros

  • Layer2 provides best connectivity with SharePoint
  • It syncs local network shared files to the SharePoint
  • Provides details file history

Cons

  • Per User cost is expensive
  • A lot of pre-requisites
  • UI needs to be more user-friendly
