Good for info but a tad hard to navigate

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

To have in hand competitive information about similar products and being have to have battle cards to know exactly how docebo compares and win to other. Give you case studies and situations where you could win or loose. Nice to have a slack extension too, to have information in hand.

Pros

  • Battle card
  • Design

Cons

  • Not the easier to use
  • A bit hard to navigate
  • under-utilized sometimes

Likelihood to Recommend

I dont know how useful it is for a bdr. I think it is more suited for an AE postion where you need indepth information instead of quick on the run information to book someone in the phone. I think it is better for case building to have that amount of information

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used Klue to aggregate competitive intel on our competitors. It's used by the entire sales team and we frequently get email updates and alerts from it. As far as I've seen the team doesn't use it too frequently, although product marketing may still use it.

Pros

  • Battlecards
  • competitive intelligence
  • email updates

Cons

  • Interactivity and continued relevance after creation of battlecards

Likelihood to Recommend

Nice for creating battle cards, but in my opinion, Klue is not ideal for continuing marketing intelligence. I'd use something like Owler for that.In my experience, it's not terribly easy to update as a regular user and I'm not sure of what integrations it has--we never set up the Salesforce integration as far as i know.

Indispensable competitive intelligence platform

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Owned by the product marketing team, Klue is a vital competitive intelligence tool that ultimately serves the needs of our sales and product teams. Klue helps us track publicly available CI, add our own intel gathered from various sources, catalog our CI and make it shareable and consumable for our internal audiences. Without it, the effort required to source, catalog, and distribute CI would be unmanageable.

Pros

  • Gathering publicly available intelligence - news, blogs, reports, etc.
  • Organizing intel into customized, meaningful buckets by the competitor.
  • Creating useful battle cards for sales.
  • Capturing news and info as you come across it online.

Cons

  • Doesn't currently capture reviews (like this one).
  • Battle card templates are limited.
  • Push alerts when changes occur on tracked pages.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you're in a space with more than 1 or 2 competitors, you need Klue to help you keep track of them. Otherwise, you'll be spending too much energy doing that and you'll be likely to miss important information. It makes light work out of keeping battle cards up to date, relevant, and accessible for your sales team.
