Beside of the regular security anti-malware features that everybody know and many have appreciated a lot through the years, the product is very useful for remote software deployment needs. the product can deploy MSI packages with extra options like /quiet and many others and works trusted giving you reliable installation feedbacks (that could be instead an issue if you use MS GPOs). it can deploy also EXE packages that could be "embedded" along with other relevant files needed for the installation and this is not a frequent option with other products. It also consent to remove such deployed softwares accross your LAN, making you saving a lot of time and giving the possibility to remediate to critical vulnerabilities in third parties softwares, very quickly and in an affordable way. you can also choose if prompting the user for a reboot or force it. I'm using Kaspersky Security Admin Center to manage the features here described.

Cons

polling LAN computer accross network sometime is not so reactive but you can force the installation just by entering hostname or ip address

it's a very good security suite that could be expanded also with additional modules for Windows patch management and many other things like for example the vulnerability scanning with the reporting of relevant CVE\CVSS articles and scores. the product is solid and reliable and they have a lot of very high and trusted security certifications.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Kaspersky is being used in our organization as our first level of defense when it comes to cybersecurity. Products mainly help our company limit users' access, especially with its application and device control feature. Aside from those features, Kaspersky's excellent detection rate protects us from the latest threats. For our IT officers' side, the central management feature makes their work easier as it helps them centrally manage the users with full visibility.

Likelihood to Recommend

We are a small company and some of our devices are still running in XP and other outdated OS, (this is because some of our applications are designed to work with these OS.) Good thing Kaspersky has a product that can still protect the above-mentioned OS.
Kaspersky, I think is less appropriate with companies who are looking for an endpoint security product that has a DLP (data loss prevention) feature. Because as of this writing, we've checked with Kaspersky that they don't have a plan yet to add this feature to their products.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a company with 200 PCs and 10 laptops, we feel well protected with the Kaspersky Endpoint Security cloud solution, so far we have not had problems with the application but on the contrary it has solved a problem for us, mitigating any threat found on the equipment.

Take action before any unwanted malicious program execution

Uninstall remote programs

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have been using Kaspersky Endpoint Security for more than 10 years as our main antivirus software and it has provided us with the security we needed. We have not had major commercial problems beyond the renewal or increase of licenses. The license we have is Total Protection and we protect both physical and virtual machines, as well as mobile devices.

Pros

Virus protection.
Protection of use of external devices such as USB, CD, etc...
Firewall on each computer.
Central console (web included).
Website access protection.
Manage of applications.

Cons

I think the Windows update control can be improved.
Another point to improve is the client update application
Web console usability

Likelihood to Recommend

Like any good antivirus, I believe that the use of Kaspersky Endpoint Security should be mandatory in any company, as it provides the first point of security on each computer that can help prevent data loss. On the other hand, time should be spent configuring each antivirus policy correctly so that it has as little influence as possible on the performance of other applications.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Kaspersky was solving the problem of antivirus protection, as well as malware and other endpoint protection strategies.

Pros

Deployment was easy through various RMM vendors.
Installs fast.
Rarely, if ever crashes.

Cons

Privacy concerns, as it related to their business being tied so close to the Russian government.
Concerns that software was acting as a listening agent for a foreign entity.
Too aggressive and at times, made it very difficult to get programs to passthrough that were authorized for use.

Likelihood to Recommend

Given that the US Government has declared that they are not to be trusted, this was a deal breaker with all our customers. We had to pull the software.

It is used throughout our company. Kaspersky Endpoint Security is used for the protection of viruses and remote attacks with operation parallel to that of Firewall Watchguard. Excellent protection capability and fairly light for client CPU occupation. very convenient to be able to install the centralized version with on a Server: through the dashboard it is possible to check the status of each PC and get alerts on problems

Analysis of the status of multiple clients through the Server version.

Cons

Improved ability to identify cryptolockers.
Export of reports.
Excessive weight in terms of data space and memory in the server version.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is perfectly usable on medium-large companies equipped with numerous client PCs.

We use Kaspersky as our primary antivirus program and it was used in our organization to prevent our working computers from malware attacks, trojan, malware. It has also a mail encryption option which can be useful for safe communication. It also provides management services with backup, recovery, and file management.

It is very well suited for a small-scale business that is looking to protect its devices from a security threat. And also it can be used for individual purposes to protect their PC. There are some feature restrictions based on subscriptions. They also provide 30 days free trial to experience their services before they opt for paid ones.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security protects our network almost for 8 years now. It is used organization-wide both in Headquarters and branches. Kaspersky helps to protect the endpoints from not only viruses, But we are controlling Device management, Web Control, Application whitelisting, encryption, and even third-party patch management through Kaspersky

Out of office policies can be configured
Easy deployment
External devices can be allowed user wise

Cons

DLP solution is not available with Kaspersky

Likelihood to Recommend

Application whitelisting feature is used in our ATMs and it is a great success. We have enabled only a set of applications to be run on ATMs and all other applications that run on ATMs are blocked through an application whitelisting policy. We as IT Admins can sleep at night knowing that our network is well secured with Kaspersky.

I have been using this software for securing my devices for many years. I would say this is a truly excellent tool for encrypting our devices and it also plays an effective role in protecting our devices from data leaks. It is not only easy to implement but also it is very easy to maintain. It is playing an amazing role in our organization by securing our business data.

Pros

The feature most worth mentioning is that it provides us virus-free infrastructure. As it is lightweight security software, it is becoming more popular day by day. There is no other powerful antivirus than this.
Its licensing cost is also very reasonable compared to other products. It behaves like a real-time system for monitoring threats deeply.
Its scanning power is very effective and powerful.
It is incredibly easy to implement.

Cons

Although this is reliable endpoint protection, sometimes problems occur while running heavy applications with this security software and its performance suffers.
I think its installation process must be made easier.

This is the most appropriately designed tool. It creates a very peaceful environment for our office. Moreover, its configuration and management are very easy. It has a great accuracy rate. It has strong capabilities for handling all types of ransomware. I suggest you give it a try, I am sure it will surprise you with its extraordinary results.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security is used by my organization across multiple sites. I am only responding to my site which has close to 1,000 employees. There are around 300 workstations and a few dozen servers protected by Kaspersky Endpoint Security at my site. It is used to protect our workstations and servers against malicious programs and attacks. it has other benefits such as reporting what software is installed on our systems, deploying software, and other monitoring. Our Kaspersky security center uses MS SQL Express and has no issues. We did not need to attach it to any full version of [the] SQL server.

It could be easier to detect workstation name changes.
It automatically detects new systems and will even place them in organizational containers that you specify, but sometimes it doesn't pick up new systems.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Kaspersky is well suited for large and small companies. Larger companies can take advantage of the KSC (Kaspersky Security Center) servers to help manage a large network. The KSC has many good features to help monitor the health of the organization. It does a good job with updating and deploying remotely. It has inventory features, and can even deploy non-Kaspersky software packages uploaded to the center. KSC can become a source of good information about [your] network that can be seen at a glance. IT departments are normally smaller than they need to be. KSC helps with larger and smaller companies because of this. A small company would appreciate the amount of information and management that can be done through KSC without needing extra help. If the company is small enough that they don't have servers on-site, there is a cloud version. I have not used that to know how it differs from the local KSC.
