We have a use case where we need to deliver age-restricted items to customers. We use Jumio for the following two specific purposes:
1. The user will present proof of age like a driver's license.
2. The user will present their photograph.
Jumio does these two things:
1. Parse the age proof and verify that the age is above 21.
2. Compare the photo on the document with the one provided by the user and confirm that they match.

Likelihood to Recommend
Jumio is well suited in cases that need user authentication. An example is to check whether a user is eligible to collect age-restricted items. In our case, the user will provide a document that can act as age proof and a photograph of themselves. Jumio will then parse the age proof document to verify the age; Jumio will also match the photograph on the document with the one the user-provided and confirm they are the same. Jumio can sometimes take more time to return the result; so in cases where timing is an issue, one should not use Jumio.
