depleting the need for paper clutter and waste. It also improves employees’
technological knowledge by requiring them to get used to using technology on a
daily work basis. Reports are easily available and save administrative time
compared to manually flipping through multiple workbooks or sheets to find
results and key metrics. Jolt also reduces “pencil whipping” of forms, as they
have deadlines and cannot be completed leisurely.
We decided to purchase Jolt to ensure processes were being executed. Some of the internal work flow problems were team members not completing tasks in a timely manner or at all and unsure of what to do during non-peak hours. We also were using an internal POS scheduling tool which was very cumbersome. Since purchasing the checklist and scheduling features in Jolt our operations have become smoother and more tasks are being completed in the restaurant. I have personally saved hours of time on creating schedules.

I've rated Jolt a 9 based on the fact that not all email domains are compatible. icloud.com for example will not allow employees to register and utilize Jolt Lite for scheduling. This is a major problem for those employees who use this domain as their primary email. The technology needs improvement as well as app technology. Other than that Jolt is very easy to use.
We use it to track temperature of our equipment and use the checklists. It makes keeping an eye on temps very easy and helps us with checklists for our different shifts throughout the day.

For us the temp sensor monitoring have been a big insurance policy to make sure our refrigeration equipment is working the way it should be. Its has helped troubleshoot things that regular maintenance can't monitor.

Jolt is the first time that I am able to hold my staff accountable in real-time and ensure that tasks are completed in the proper manner.
It has helped with inventory control as well as we are able to accurately forecast what flavors we’ll need to make, and when based on lists that the staff fills in.
Jolt has been such a time saver for me as a small business owner because many of the daily activities I found myself doing, I was able to automate.

It has made my life as a restaurant owner significantly easier through the use of lists.
The fast food business is basically a production facility. Raw product in the back, finished out of the front. My business utilizes Jolt to ensure we are consistent in that production every day. Without Jolt, the myriad tasks that must get done to run a world class operation simply would not happen. I am never held hostage by Team Members who have all the tribal knowledge and when they inevitably leave, they take all the best practices with them. Jolt allows me to create a system where my amazing Team Members simply plug into the roles that exist when they were hired. As the business grows, we adjust the checklists to grow with the business.
Jolt is also designed to allow us to manage the daily ops by sending us alerts when checklists aren't complete on time or at all. My completion rate on dozens of daily checklists is in the high 90's% because the leadership can follow up with Team Members who don't complete checklists or don't complete a task.

It can be as simple as cleaning the office prior to leaving the office to as complex as producing your widget from raw material to finished product. If you have process in your business that requires a employee or team to accomplish a task through a series of steps, Jolt has you covered.
We use live time cooler monitoring, Time Scheduling and Task Management.
Last night before closing I got a warning that the UT Wing Cooler was running warm, I was able to have the guys move 10 cases of chicken wings out of this cooler before they left. In the morning the wing cooler is not operational and we were able to save all that product. Thank you Jolt!

We have had several cooling units go down without losing any product because of the Jolt Software sending alerts and giving us a chance to either resolve the issue or move the product to another unit.
We currently use Jolt for all of our Training Checklists for each level of leadership. From New Hires to our Directors, they have the power to access their training as well as the materials they need. This allows the power to be in the Team Members hand, as well as ensure all of our trainers can see the most up-to-date versions of training. We have right around 200 employees between two restaurants, and we all use this system.
We also use Jolt for all cleaning and maintenance lists. We used to print 100 page books every month for our leaders with all of their daily tasks for them to check off, and a manager would have to be in the store to see if it was done. Now, not only can a leader see it in real-time, they can upload pictures, leave comments, and even get a message when something is completed. It has put the power in the managers hands, and streamlines follow-up.

We use it across our whole organization. It helps with inventory, coaching, reviews, and other tasks. We use Jolt several times a day, and it is a great tool for us to track and communicate throughout the company. Jolt has increased productivity by allowing us to transmit information quickly and remotely. It is easy to create and review information. I love the customization that it offers. In my opinion, Jolt would be useful to small and larger businesses.

Excellent for inventory. It compiles information well. You can search specific dates and locations to filter information and locate past lists. I love that it is also set up to email certain lists and gives reminders of when things are due. Several lists that we use are set up to automatically email to the person or persons who need the information.
