Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are an Apple based managed service provider. Jamf allows our clients to securely manage their devices, making compliance and employee onboard using/off boarding a snap.

Pros

Centralized inventory of devices.
Remote management and policy enforcement.
Reporting and device usage statistics.

Cons

Jamf Pro Policies that will retry if they fail.

Likelihood to Recommend

Good for any environment where there is a fleet of Apple devices that need to be managed to any extent (low to high touch). Jamf Pro is probably not appropriate for smaller deployments of less than 50 devices where there is no growth planned. In those instances I’d recommend Jamf Now.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It's our primary MDM solution for our employee devices and our telemedicine carts. We deploy it and use it internally as well as directly with our customers. It works great ... I am the primary administrator and user at this time.

Reporting engine stinks
