I am the HR Manager, I use isolved to onboard and manage employee information, personnel documents, run payroll, manage benefits, create learning development paths, assign required trainings.

Faster UI - it has gotten better but is still slow at times

Likelihood to Recommend

With HCM or HRIS software its about finding the right fit for your org (employee makeup, size, industry, etc) isolved is perfect for companies of our size who smaller but still growing. If you are a really large org 500+ employees and you have pay people a variety of ways (tipped, nontipped, piece rate, etc...) you may consider a more robust system.

Pros

Payroll is so simple
The support team is wonderful and shout out to Mandy K... She is awesome!
The fact that we build any report needed is awesome.
The free training and newsletters helps keep me updates on new thing.

Cons

If isolved would provide an app to download on the phones, the team would love isolved just as much as I do.
The self portal could show more details like payrate without going to paystubs.

I love isolved, but would like to see isolved create an app instead of saving to the home page.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been using isolved for two years now and I am more comfortable than ever. I'm using it for everything I need and every time I had an issue the isolved team was there to help me. Currently, there are no business problems.

Pros

Great customer service.
Easy to get the paystubs.
Easy to change personal data like direct deposit or tax info.

Cons

Time cards could be little better. Everything is so manual.

It's pretty compatible with our type of business. Leave accruals are easy to edit and input.

We are a small business and Isolved has been a huge help with payroll, employee handbooks and any other concerns that I might have in regards to employment. They have a great source for me when it comes to questions that I might have about payroll, taxes and employment items that I am not sure about. Any time that I have called, the personal have been great to deal with.

Helped with my yearly increase in insurance deductions for my employees
Help to resolve an incorrect application of hours

They were very helpful when I posted the wrong hours for a couple of my employees. They answered my questions and while I was on the phone they correct my mistake. They always make me feel comfortable enough to always ask the for help without feeling silly about any questions that I might have. I plan on staying with Isolved for a long time.

We use iSolved for weekly payroll processing, onboarding new hires and all reporting including employee's pay history and W2.

Pros

Excellent Customer Service! I love being able to call and get a friendly representative right away. They are always very knowledgeable and willing to help.
The website is easy to navigate.
Reports are easy to customize.

Cons

I would love to see the "refresh" button be removed! When trying to run reports, you will have to click the refresh button until you can review the report.

isolved is used as a timesheet, payroll and benefit manger. We are an ambulance service and schedule 24-72 hour shifts which they modified software to work with our company.

Pros

Time sheet review is easy
Payroll process simple
No worries on all the tax reports being submitted in a timely manner
With benefit feeds for Insurance enrolling and termination is a no brainer

Cons

Report writing for specific information is tedious

I have found isolved reduce the amount of time that was required and steps that were required to maintain payroll and benefits were reduced by at least 60%

iSolved is being used for payroll and human resources and is being used company wide by the department managers and/supervisors. The managers/supervisors don't use the human resources portion of the software but rather the time keeping portion.

Cons

Sometimes when recording notes or corrective actions, the back button doesn't work
Changing up items that I search in the menu bar because I sometimes can't remember them LOL

iSolved is genuinely user friendly and because our company is so complex, it's great for departmentalization and allocations to our different locations.
