I use isolved to do payroll semi-monthly and run payroll and workers' compensation reports for my monthly reporting with our Workers' Compensation insurance. The many reports available are very helpful. In addition to payroll, we also use isolved to manage some benefit plans. It is easy to manage, from deductions to earnings and even employer taxes.
Pros
Payroll
Benefit plans
Payroll reports
Timekeeping
Year-end reports
Cons

Likelihood to Recommend
Payroll reports are generated within minutes. Year-end reports are also always done on time.

isolved is used to track employees hours/pay and benefits for our company. A problem we had was the need to separate out data for all of our individual sites and isolved was able to assign "locations" we link employees to so accurate data can be collected. It helps create more financials for us to have a better financial picture of our company.
Pros
Customer service is wonderful
Custom reports have been most helpful to get the information we need
The ability to assign locations for us to get specific financial information for our sites
Cons
The site seems to be down or glitch more often than we'd like
Likelihood to Recommend
I would recommend isolved for nearly any businesses as the reporting system and ability to create custom reports is a wonderful financial tool to monitor the payroll expenses of any business. It may not be appropriate for businesses with ten or fewer employees.

We use Ahola to set up payroll accounts and to process payrolls. We get payroll clients and provide them with whatever services they want that iSolved has to offer. A lot of clients use onboarding, Itime, HRIS, and etc. We also utilize the iSolved university to learn more about isolved or just when we have general system questions or how to's we also encourage our clients to use the university as well.
Pros
User friendly makes it easy to access different screens
running payroll
Onboarding and offboarding
I time
Cons
I feel like there should be an override option in payroll like an option to add additional taxes for a one time scenario
Likelihood to Recommend
Like i've said the system is very user friendly and i think it is very easy to use. It makes doing payroll very simple. Theres a lot of awesome features like how companies can communicate within their organizations and even the onboarding process.

We purchased the full suite of isolved HCM and payroll after much consideration. We were looking for a full-integrated system and the ability for our employees to have ESS access to a system that we hoped would be intuitive and for administrators to easily navigate all of the modules.
Cons
Implementation "team" is about a dozen different people all asking for data at the same time.
Hand-off from implementation to "dedicated support team" was clunky and we feel a decided lack of dedicated support.
Setup of many areas was incomplete.
Mobile app is not an app at all, but a widget; we were not instructed on how to access this until after opening ESS to employees.
The array of administrative options is completely overwhelming and not at all intuitive; no explanation for the differences, no way to easily navigate.
Likelihood to Recommend
Would give a zero if that were an option. Terrible implementation. Resources are thin. Too often told that there is no reason that they can discern as to why something is set up or works the way it does, e.g., an employee who waived a benefit during open enrollment (and is indicated as such on the OE screen) has a deduction for that benefit in the next payroll. An employee is mysteriously not on the payroll register despite having all hours approved.

isolved is great for processing payroll. It is very user friendly. The time clock system is easy for our employees to use. We are a small employer and it is very well suited to us. We use what we need in the system.
Our client base is charter schools. We use isolved for our school's hiring/time management and payroll processing needs. I am involved in everything from implementation forward.
Pros
Employee Time Management
Reporting
Ease of User Interface
Continual updates to product
Cons
Customer Service case follow up
Tax Department
Price point flexibility
Likelihood to Recommend
New employee onboarding is fantastic and seamless. The implementation teams are phenomenal. The time module is great and the continual updates to the product are great. If there are problems with anything customer service cannot fix-getting that issue resolved is inadequate. For example, the UI rate changed on all our schools to 002 January 1. I sent individual emails for each school, got an email back with a case number stating the tax department would need to make the change. 3 weeks later (the week of payroll submission) it was still not changed, when I replied to the case email I had initially received asking for assistance, I did not receive a reply. I finally reached out to ... (who is amazing) and she was able to get us fixed. Customer service told one of my workers to just go ahead and submit payroll and that it would "be caught up".

I use it regularly for payroll, hiring, document storage, and benefit management. My employees use it daily to clock in and out and view check stubs.
Pros
User friendly
Accomplishes a variety of needs in one platform
Reliable
Cons
Password/account access is difficult for my staff; I have to help people weekly to reset their account to log in
The TimeForce app often has glitches where it doesn't work

I manage two separate companies through isolved, one with hourly employees and the other with salaried employees. It works great for both companies. Onboarding, benefit enrollment, and payroll all work great. We just started to sync isolved COBRA. I wish there was a place where we could send out a questionnaire to staff. For example when they are leaving, an exit interview that would be filed in their account. Or if there is an upcoming event, survey for staff attendance.

We use isolved to onboard new employees, store employee data for reporting, process payroll and pay taxes and to track employee time and accruals
Pros
Their report are easy to access and customize
The onboarding module is an excellent way to gather information
The new Adaptive Employee Experience is easy to navigate
Cons
The time keeping system is complicated because we are required to cut off the timecards on the 14th of the month but most of our employees are salaried, paid for the entire month on the 25th of the month.

We had been with ADP for years prior to converting to isolved. The key reasons for the transition were reporting and customer service. The conversions team at isolved setup custom reports that met all of our needs and our customer service rep was the BEST! If she wasn't available, she would always follow-up to make sure we received the help we needed.
We use isolved for all employees at our school. It allows employees to clock in using their phone. It also allows them to look up previous checks, time off and benefit information.
Pros
isolved time allows our employees to clock in and out on their phone allowing for more accurate time.
Employees can login and print their check information. This saves time for them and the school.
Employees can request time off through the app which helps in scheduling.
Cons
The side bar for processing payroll would be better if it were in order of how processing is done.
A summary page showing all employees time for a pay period.
Likelihood to Recommend
Seamless processing using isolved time.

isolved is our payroll platform and currently being used by the business office and our accounting firm. It keeps payroll problems and solutions at our figure tips. I am not a payroll professional so its the best resource for a one man show.
Pros
Customer Service..Always available and willing to help solve all things payroll!
Training...when I moved the this new platform the training was hands on with their staff. I trained in both my office and at Performance with Tiffany.
Easy...very user friendly software.
Cons
The change to combine Performance and isolved has diminished Customer Service just a little bit. All and all, I am a happy customer.
Likelihood to Recommend
Whether you are a one man show or a large company I feel it a great HR solution.
