Customer Service- You know the people who assist you. No more on hold for an hour only to find the person on the other end is not knowledgeable. You have a team.

The only improvement would be reporting within the HRIS. Sometimes it's hard to get exactly what you need from canned reports.

isolved overall is user friendly. I had zero instruction/training and just jumped into the system when I was hired. isolved is user friendly from an employee standpoint as well. Improvements could be carrier file creation for benefits taking entirely too long. It's a process, understandably, however, it has taken several months to complete the last carrier file. In isolved defense, sometimes the vendor on the other side is the obstacle.

We use isolved for payroll processing for a small union roofing company of about 35 employees. Kathy is the best! She is responsive, kind and intelligent. She can solve any problem with the utmost professionalism and a touch of humor. It doesn't matter if the request is last minute or requires some planning and research - Kathy delivers! I am happy she is our dedicated service rep and always wish for her to be the one to respond to my requests. She's also great at reminding me when a deadline approaches, and has managed to make magic should something go wrong. I appreciate Kathy very much.

Since I only use isolved for payroll, I cannot speak to other aspects, but I think the application is well suited to any sized company in any industry. We don't take advantage of many of the features, but it is still very usable. It would be great to learn more about other aspects in the future.

I use the Payroll here at L&L Contractors & love it. It's simple to use, even with the unusual changes or requests I may need sometimes, iSolved is on top of it. I've had a few small things that the representative didn't know the answer to but instead of passing me to someone else, they used it as a training process for themselves. I am impressed by the helpfulness of the reps & their pleasant attitudes. That means a lot.

Every problem I have ever had, it has been handled from the beginning to the end, not passed off. I don't have to leave voice messages, I can talk to a live person. I highly recommend iSolve & am sooooo glad we have the opportunity to benefit from their services.

Fleming Complete uses iSolved as their workforce solution. We utilize Attract & Hire as well and are looking to incorporate Learn & Grow and Mojo. We attract applicants and send all applicant communications through Attract & Hire. It's amazing to centralize job postings and receive statistics on what's working or not. The support team has been great in helping us re-write our job postings too. The Attract & Hire system integrates with our workforce solution. Making the transition from applicant to new hire seamless. We further use the workforce solution to manage time off (vacation, EPST, jury, military, and unpaid). It's great to have all information in one place. We also track other information about employees such as emergency contacts, likes/favorite things, and their certifications. Now the executive team has one location to obtain secure details. We do not use the systems timesheet/clocking functionality because it doesn't work well in the construction industry. We charge time to each construction project we work on. This could include 15 minutes of time. The clocking system really doesn't like recording 15 minute increments. So, we use a manual system to track time.

Recording 15 minutes of time on the timeclock is a challenge. The system just doesn't like it.
Creating reports is initially confusing, so additional upfront training would be good.
It's confusing, at first, to understand how to use Help vs. iSolved University.
Creating custom fields is easy, but setting them up correctly for future ease of finding and reporting from can be challenging.

Pros
Always accessible. I have never had to wait for a return call. Customer service is always available. Very important on payroll days when immediate help is needed.
Our relationship manager reaches out frequently to make sure all our needs are being met. It is very important to us to have a dedicated contact person and especially one that responds quickly. We have been with larger companies and have had to wait until they return our call.
The software program is very easy to navigate and reports very easy to read.
Employees appreciate having instant access to their payroll details through their computers or phones.

Actually, I don't have any complaints other than they are on EST and we are on PST so we have to make sure we call in our payroll timely. We knew this signing with isolved so this was our choice.

After being with large payroll companies, I find that isolved 's customer service is superior to the larger company's. We have had dedicated service representatives but in time of need, we have had to leave a message and wait for a return call. I can't stress enough that time is of the essence on payroll days so immediate help is my foremost priority.
