What is iPage?

iPage is a modular website hosting service with features such as bandwith, email, and 24/7 support. iPage offers the following additional modules: security suite, marketing suite, design suite, and support suite.

Extremely average hosting - bad tech support

Pros

  • Clean user interface
  • Fast website

Cons

  • There appears to be no cPanel. This is something that is standard across just about every hosting company and it makes it easy to quickly find what you're looking for however I have not been able to find one in iPage. This makes it a less than attractive option for me.
  • Very slow tech support. Getting someone on the phone takes ages and then once they do put in a ticket for you, it might be weeks until the problem gets resolved. Really unsatisfactory in this regard.

Most Important Features

  • Domain registration
  • Hosting
  • Gsuite integration

Return on Investment

  • iPage is a standard registrar and host and pricing is reasonable - there are no real numbers for ROI here except maybe that it saves money from a more expensive hosting company.

Alternatives Considered

Web Hosting Hub, GoDaddy, IONOS, by 1&1, HostGator, InMotion Hosting and SiteGround
