Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our nonprofit launched a petition to save a popular local park from unwanted commercial development. To make signing up easier, I allowed people to sign up without writing in their location. When the campaign closed, successfully I might add, I realized that location data -- mainly city -- would be very helpful. Fortunately we had the public IP address for every petition signer. IP2Location was able to apply its algorithms to our dataset and in practically no time we had the information we were hoping for. I am very grateful to IP2Location for this service.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

IP2Location is used to identify where our clients are. I am the only one to use it in our company because I already did that for another company.
It helps us to open some agencies and make some promotional events.
It is not a full tool because localization is not accurate enough but it gives an idea.

Less information about the IP address because it is a bit too large and useless
An easier way to gather information about many IP address

It is less appropriate if you have a huge database and that you want to analyze it easily and quickly.
It is well suited if you want an overall of the situation but not an accurate result.
You have to treat the data before using it because of the comma and the fact that there are multiple pieces of information on the same row.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using it to detect user's details like country, city, ISP etc. IP2Location's service saves us from fraudulent users and works more efficiently with trusted partners.

We use this service while taking a payment, it helps us to detect payment fraud by matching IP details with payment details; sometimes it helps to stop anonymous users too who try to mess with our platform.
