My company has been using Influitive for the past two years to manage our customer advocacy program. It helps us provide a centralized place for our customer advocates to go to see our latest educational content, marketing content, community discussions, and advocacy opportunities. They receive points for everything they do and redeem those points for rewards like swag or a product certification. We reluctantly renewed for a third year; however, we are looking at other vendors for 2025.
Pros
User experience for customers
Cons
A HUGE miss is that when an advocate completes a challenge they can't go back and look at their previous responses which also prevents them from responding to other members who respond to their comments
General respect for their customer base

Ever since JigSaw purchased Influitive they have been difficult to deal with and shady in their business practices, in my experience. They gave me my renewal pricing a month late with a 25% price increase for less support than I was receiving before. They said the renewal terms were not negotiable and they would not grant an extension. They were trying to get us to sign a contract with the wrong company name on it for several weeks because they didn't want to take the time to update the paperwork. This company does not care about its customers, in my opinion. I believe, they don't respect loyalty. They don't understand customer advocacy in my experience.
Update: After Influitive was aquired by Jigsaw in Dec 2023, things have gone downhill. They removed all easy access support channels, and support now starts with an AI bot. They also increased our renewal contract substantially. In our organization, Influitive serves as a dynamic hub for cultivating and mobilizing our brand advocates. We leverage the platform to address key business problems, primarily centered around community engagement, content amplification, and customer feedback. Influitive allows us to build a thriving advocate community, fostering a sense of loyalty and turning satisfied customers into vocal promoters. The platform facilitates seamless content sharing among our advocates, amplifying our success stories and testimonials to a broader audience. Moreover, Influitive serves as a valuable feedback mechanism, enabling us to collect real-time insights from our advocates. This input, coupled with the platform's gamification features, encourages active participation and enhances the overall customer experience. The scope of our use case encompasses community building, content dissemination, and data-driven decision-making, making Influitive an integral part of our customer engagement strategy. Overall, Influitive empowers us to transform customers into advocates, driving organic growth and fortifying our brand presence.
Pros
Community Engagement
Rewards and Recognition
Content Amplification
Cons
User interface could have better functionality
More AI features
Could use more integrations with other platforms

After the aquisition, I would no longer recommend Influitive. Identifying and Onboarding Advocates:
Leverage Influitive to identify advocates within your customer base who are not only satisfied with your products but also willing to serve as references. Use automated surveys and engagement metrics to pinpoint those most likely to participate. Not well suited for Static or One-time Campaigns:
If your advocacy initiatives are primarily static or one-time campaigns without a continuous engagement strategy, Influitive's full potential may not be realized. The platform is designed for ongoing, dynamic engagement rather than sporadic efforts.
Influitive has helped us cultivate a community that supports our software and loves to share their success stories within their own networks. Creating advocates is a great way for us to build trust and credibility. We are able to generate leads but also, generate content such as case studies. Overall, we are pleased with our experience and our ROI.
Pros
Advocacy
Rewarding Advocates
Customizing challenges.
Cons
Layout can be difficult
Onboarding is long

This is a great product, but requires a lot of set-up and weekly (if not daily) maintenance.
We use Influitive as a customer-facing community resource for Prophix customers that supports collaboration, knowledge sharing, and engagement among like-minded users. Its purpose is to strengthen adoption, nurture cross/upsell opportunities, mobilize acts of advocacy and strengthen retention. It also offers a gamified experience. With each completed activity, customers earn points that they can redeem for rewards (e.g. Prophix-branded items, charity donations, or Amazon/Starbucks/Stubhub giftcards).
Pros
Providing a gamified learning experience
Offering an active discussion forum for our customers to share their knowledge
Reports, Dashboards, and Metrics
Cons
More user-friendly ways to pull reports

It's best-suited as a community hub to nurture and mobilize product promoters. It's also great to roll out a variety of campaigns that are aligned with different aspects of your business.
We use Influitive to help scale our current advocacy program. We're typically fielding requests throughout the organization for customer participation (i.e. case studies, quotes, reviews, feedback, etc.). Influitive helps us do this at scale with our engaged pre-set advocates list. We recently turned on the Community functionality as well so that we can encourage conversation not only between advocates - but also between EEs and advocates (i.e. Product Marketing managers) on new feature feedback.
Pros
Advocacy at scale
Gamification for participants
Easy gifting/rewarding redemption from w/in the platform (w/Tango Card)
Cons
Engagement is critical for the advocacy program, and always having to post challenges can amount to 50% of a persons job. Would be great if there were more engagement features that didn't require challenge postings.
Homepage/UI is a little confusing when the community is added - less real estate going to the challenges
Would love to see more slack like functionality to encourage real time convos (vs. just the messaging)
Likelihood to Recommend
Influitive is great if you have an existing advocacy program and you need help scaling. In my opinion, it is not great if you are starting from scratch. You need to have a defined strategy, understand goals, and have a pool of customers in order for Influitive to be successful. It's also not great for engaging Sr. Leaders (i.e. VP+) given that they're less likely to log in to a platform like this.
We use Influitive for our advocate hub. This allows us to give visibility to our advocates for all the activities they do for us. Before Influitive, we had no way for our advocates to self-service and track how many points and what activity they were doing for us. It also helped bring a sense of community to our advocates. This is a platform where they control how much they engage with us and their peers.
Pros
Creating experiences that we can customize
Integrations into other systems
Allowing us to control the journey our advocates take
Also being a trusted advisor
Cons
Notification in the integrations section when new updates are ready
Within the members list, being able to sort by status
For the activity feed, hiding most of the details and only showing one row per activity

When we were looking for a solution to integrate with our other systems, Influitive worked with not only us but our other vendors. This allowed our internal users to continue doing what they were doing and bring visibility to both our internal teams and advocates without having to duplicate any effort.
Influitive helps us through our Customer Advocacy mission to take care of our customers first. It allows us to build a community with our exclusive clients and have a direct connection with them to have a say in the future of products to meet their needs, all while allowing them to network with one another in a way they would never have before!
Pros
Customer service
Gamification
User interface
Cons
Calendarized challenge post visibility
Exporting reports directly from the tool (instead of sent via email)

As someone who was new to customer advocacy, the Influitive tool was extremely intuitive. Most of all, their customer support team is unmatched! I love working with Claire!
We use Influitive for our customer advocacy program. We were going to start a program & platform from scratch, however, after seeing Influitive, realized there was no way we could do it without a platform like this.
Pros
Onboarding/implementation/customer success - we have had so much help in launching our program and finding success with it!
Intuitive platform - easy to navigate & understand, good documentation
Amazing integrations with common things like Salesforce, Discourse, and more
Cons
Accessibility could be improved - would love to see room for things like alt text and other accessibility measures that can be taken
Some of the interface is a little clunky and I wish there was a way you could do things easier - example: I wish I could duplicate rewards and change one or two things instead of starting the process over
Likelihood to Recommend
Influitive is perfect if you are wanting to launch and manage a full-scale customer advocacy program, complete with rewards, badging, gamification, and integrations with other community platforms such as Discourse.
Influitive is an amazing service. The platform is always updated with new features useful for users but also for admins. I love the Lookers report side to track the performance of the platform itself. The campaigns are always very creative and useful to use to engage the advocates.
Pros
Useful
Engaging
Creative
Cons
Reporting
Likelihood to Recommend
Customer service is 10/10! I think that instead reporting can be improved adding more features and reports ready to use. Also more platforms/add on to use more rewards for all the countries in the word as a lot of rewards are US based and there is a gap in EMEA
Our Influitive hub is called “CommUnity” and it allows us to gamify the customer experience. The intent is to connect customers with other like-minded professionals who are passionate about Human Insight.
Pros
Gamification
Advocacy
Cons
The back end interface hasn’t had any updates since I started using the platform in 2018.
Customers often have to purchase integrations to solve issues.
Support related to integrations can be difficult to nail down a POC.

Influitive gets the task at hand done when it comes to gamification. But it is starting to become outdated especially when it comes to the discussion forum section. The process for setting up rewards could use some fine-tuning as well. At the moment you’re not able to clone rewards and if you’re using the Tango e-gifts, you’re not able to customize the name of the rewards.
