Influitive is huge disappointment after JigSaw acquisition

Rating: 1 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My company has been using Influitive for the past two years to manage our customer advocacy program. It helps us provide a centralized place for our customer advocates to go to see our latest educational content, marketing content, community discussions, and advocacy opportunities. They receive points for everything they do and redeem those points for rewards like swag or a product certification. We reluctantly renewed for a third year; however, we are looking at other vendors for 2025.

Pros

  • User experience for customers

Cons

  • A HUGE miss is that when an advocate completes a challenge they can't go back and look at their previous responses which also prevents them from responding to other members who respond to their comments
  • General respect for their customer base

Likelihood to Recommend

Ever since JigSaw purchased Influitive they have been difficult to deal with and shady in their business practices, in my experience. They gave me my renewal pricing a month late with a 25% price increase for less support than I was receiving before. They said the renewal terms were not negotiable and they would not grant an extension. They were trying to get us to sign a contract with the wrong company name on it for several weeks because they didn't want to take the time to update the paperwork. This company does not care about its customers, in my opinion. I believe, they don't respect loyalty. They don't understand customer advocacy in my experience.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Influitive for our customer advocacy program. We are looking to engage with our customer base to grow our reference pool, nurture customer for cross sale/upsell and referrals and provide education/best practice tools for both our products and the urgent care industry.

Pros

  • User friendly
  • Great metrics and insights

Cons

  • Saving drafts of challenges. All steps need to be filled out before a challenge can be saved.
  • We run into issues with uploading images to challenges. however, Influitive is typically quick to resolve the issue

Likelihood to Recommend

We have seen success with information sharing. Giving customers another way to access our resources has been a huge help for them.

While we see good engagement numbers there are still some limitations to getting our advocates to complete the 'harder' challenges, like a testimonial or reference.

Best in class advocacy tool

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Influitive is critical to our day to day customer advocacy efforts and business goals. We primarily use our community as a means of rewarding our customers for trusting us to partner with their business, to recognise the actions they take to advocate for us and their engagement outside of the community as well, be that attending events, webinars or being active in our technical community. We also use the community to source a number of different advocacy initiatives that we have in marketing. This includes: Peer Reviews, Customer References (which we use Influitive to drive), customer referrals, social media sharing. We also use the hub as a place to source customer stories, videos and testimonials to drive user generated content and give it a place to live, so that prospects and customers can consume and share it to learn and understand how their peers use our products.

Pros

  • Intuitive platform that is constantly being improved
  • Extraordinary support teams and success managers
  • Easily customisable platform to allow for branding and accessibility options
  • Open to suggestions for new features and will often share these early to test

Cons

  • Discussions could use visual update to match the newer features in Elevate
  • Redeemed rewards could do with being grouped by customer vs item to make shipping easier
  • More/custom advocacy types are desperately needed

Likelihood to Recommend

Influitive is the best in class advocacy tool. Having used Influitive at multiple enterprise level companies, I would not use another tool. It's very well suited for large customer bases and for scaling smaller advocacy teams. The work that we can do with thousands of customers and only a couple of headcount makes the investment worth every penny and the robust reporting and dashboards will help you justify investment every step of the way.

Unleashing the Power of Advocacy

Rating: 1 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Update: After Influitive was aquired by Jigsaw in Dec 2023, things have gone downhill. They removed all easy access support channels, and support now starts with an AI bot. They also increased our renewal contract substantially. In our organization, Influitive serves as a dynamic hub for cultivating and mobilizing our brand advocates. We leverage the platform to address key business problems, primarily centered around community engagement, content amplification, and customer feedback. Influitive allows us to build a thriving advocate community, fostering a sense of loyalty and turning satisfied customers into vocal promoters. The platform facilitates seamless content sharing among our advocates, amplifying our success stories and testimonials to a broader audience. Moreover, Influitive serves as a valuable feedback mechanism, enabling us to collect real-time insights from our advocates. This input, coupled with the platform's gamification features, encourages active participation and enhances the overall customer experience. The scope of our use case encompasses community building, content dissemination, and data-driven decision-making, making Influitive an integral part of our customer engagement strategy. Overall, Influitive empowers us to transform customers into advocates, driving organic growth and fortifying our brand presence.

Pros

  • Community Engagement
  • Rewards and Recognition
  • Content Amplification

Cons

  • User interface could have better functionality
  • More AI features
  • Could use more integrations with other platforms

Likelihood to Recommend

After the aquisition, I would no longer recommend Influitive. Identifying and Onboarding Advocates:

Leverage Influitive to identify advocates within your customer base who are not only satisfied with your products but also willing to serve as references. Use automated surveys and engagement metrics to pinpoint those most likely to participate. Not well suited for Static or One-time Campaigns:

If your advocacy initiatives are primarily static or one-time campaigns without a continuous engagement strategy, Influitive's full potential may not be realized. The platform is designed for ongoing, dynamic engagement rather than sporadic efforts.

Influitive is great

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Influitive helps us create deeper relationships with our customers. Our SaaS product has multiple layers of users and we may not be able to communicate with everyone using traditional email marketing. Our Influitive hub allows us to crowd-source topics for future content and create CABs and beta testing groups using daily users, as well as generate social proof and influence 3rd party reviews which supports new sales and renewals.

Pros

  • User interface
  • Gamification
  • Incentivized marketing

Cons

  • Email Capabilities

Likelihood to Recommend

Influitive is an excellent platform for relationship building and customer advocacy. We've been able to find, encourage, and influence customer stories that help build clout and social proof, and now can promote peer-to-peer mentorship.

While Influitive has great integrations with Marketo, I do wish their in-house email segmentation was a bit stronger.

Influitive - Connecting Industry Experts to empower each other to do more!

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organizational goals are about elevating the voice of the customer and being a customer centric business. It can be hard to do that without a direct line to the customer. Influitive is that direct line. This platform helps us create engaging content that keeps customers coming back. We also have the ability to create our own journey for customers whether we asking for online reviews, connecting with customers to participate in early access projects, reaching out to experts to help us identify gaps in solutions we have the autonomy to create and engaging, gamefied journey. My CSM, Brent is always willing to help and support my crazy ideas. I am in the process of re-imagining what our community looks like and how to navigate to better support our customers and the Influitive team has been supportive and collaborative as I work through my vision of change. I can't say enough about Influitive. It is a great way to Discover, Nurture and Mobilize advocates all while building trust and a partnership that helps everyone win.

Pros

  • Templated challenges - help me quickly find fun easy ways to create content
  • The reporting is getting better and the recent use cases have helped me better define goals and objectives and how to acheive them

Cons

  • Navigation... I wish there were ways users could tag items - or add to their own dashboard - maybe widgets
  • Reporting is getting better, however, I do wish that it was easier to build your own reports... somethings BU goals don't match standard reports and that can be difficult and manual
  • Better way to group discussion - I know there are tags, but think - having - channels that lead to discussion forums to keep most similar items in one spot would help customers navigate easier and also find what they are looking for

Likelihood to Recommend

I think any organization that wants to connect with customers, empower them to do more, help them feel supported, listen to them and learn from them can benefit from using Influitive.

Overall, we are pleased with our experience and our ROI.

Pros

  • Advocacy
  • Rewarding Advocates
  • Customizing challenges.

Cons

  • Layout can be difficult
  • Onboarding is long

Likelihood to Recommend

This is a great product, but requires a lot of set-up and weekly (if not daily) maintenance.

Influitive - engaging customers through gamified interactions

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Influitive as both an engagement tool for our customers and to generate acts of advocacy to support our business goals.

The necessity to deepen relationships with customers is greater than ever, so we need a platform to support our efforts. Influitive allows us to get to know our customers better, understanding who they are and what they care about. From a business perspective, we're able to gather product feedback and insights that help us to shape the future of the business.

Our principal areas of focus are:

Generating peer reviews

Gathering testimonials

Supporting our sales teams with reference calls

Creating a feedback loop

Inviting referrals

Enhancing our NPS completion rate and overall sentiment

The program is gamified which allows us to thank our customers for their engagement, rewarding them for their participation.

Pros

  • The gamified functionality is perfect as we look to create a fun but rewarding environment.
  • The UI is clean and fresh, making it easy for customers to navigate.
  • The variety of options for content helps us to share all manner of artifacts.
  • The ability to segment our audience seamlessly allows us to target subsets of our demographic with valuable content.
  • The Influitive team are constantly available to support and offer advice to improve our program.

Cons

  • The translations feature is good, but supporting more global languages would be beneficial.
  • Calculating ROI is key, but not every organization measures the same metrics. Whilst the default options are good, the ability to easily add more specific metrics would be valuable.
  • There are plenty of integrations available, but with more and more vendors offering complementary solutions, Influitive will need to add to this area.

Likelihood to Recommend

The Influitive platform is an excellent solution for any organization looking for ways to engage a broad, global customer base. The standard functionality enables us to deliver an experience that our customers enjoy, delivering value to both them and the business.

The reporting allows us to track key metrics and easily report on progress, as often as necessary. This is key when we look to demonstrate the value the program is delivering.

People like rewards, so the gamified nature of the platform makes it easy for customers to earn points towards items of interest. The ability for us to include a wide variety of options (swag, gift cards, discounts on solutions and charitable donations), means that we can offer something for everyone.

Engage your customers at a whole new interactive level with Influitive

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

To rally customers and the general public together to share our business philosophy (and our product), we needed a robust community platform that could deliver an engaging experience where content could be delivered and consumed easily, advocacy could be generated, and an overall feeling of positivity could be nurtured. We wanted people from different companies to band together productively in one space, and we've been able to achieve that through Influitive.

Pros

  • Allows you to create compelling and engaging challenges that help your content stand out.
  • The gamification system enables a seamless rewards program that doesn't require a big manual lift.
  • The data and insights are easy to access, analyze, and guide you toward your north star.

Cons

  • Organizing the main page of featured content can be a bit limited, and you are a bit beholden to the layout that comes with the platform.
  • Much of the experience requires users to be logged-in, so it is a challenge to showcase content and value props to visitors who do not already have an account.
  • The platform is much more designed for existing customers, making it difficult to build your program around a general public experience.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you're looking to take your customer engagement to the next level with a differentiated experience that is more on the gamification side, then Influitive will be right up your alley. You can design user journeys that help members work their way through challenges that get them to achieve learning and upleveling, while the entire platform can be filled with ways to drive them toward your company goals of advocacy.

Game-changing Advocacy Tool and Excellent Services Team!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Influitive as a customer-facing community resource for Prophix customers that supports collaboration, knowledge sharing, and engagement among like-minded users. Its purpose is to strengthen adoption, nurture cross/upsell opportunities, mobilize acts of advocacy and strengthen retention. It also offers a gamified experience. With each completed activity, customers earn points that they can redeem for rewards (e.g. Prophix-branded items, charity donations, or Amazon/Starbucks/Stubhub giftcards).

Pros

  • Providing a gamified learning experience
  • Offering an active discussion forum for our customers to share their knowledge
  • Reports, Dashboards, and Metrics

Cons

  • More user-friendly ways to pull reports

Likelihood to Recommend

It's best-suited as a community hub to nurture and mobilize product promoters. It's also great to roll out a variety of campaigns that are aligned with different aspects of your business.
