If you are looking for a really good solution for deal registration, Impartner does a great job. Some of the things we did were very straightforward. The backend was very slick and had a lot of advanced features. It takes a lot of dedication to understand the tool. It isn’t what I would call drag and drop. My least favorite part of the tool was dealing with their director of sales. In my experience, he was really unpleasant and was mad that his team was spending time on a section of the training that his team had screwed up. When he told us we owed more money because of the extra time and I explained the situation, in my opinion, he became a bully.
ImpartnerPRM is the platform on which our partner portal is built. We primarily use it for deal registration. However, we also use it as a repository for sales & marketing assets and information on marketing campaigns. We utilize the Marketing View function to send communications to our partners.

I have worked with many other PRM platforms. ImpartnerPRM is in the middle of the pack. There is still a lot of opportunity for making the platform more intuitive and automating some of the processes. However, it is better than some of the others that I have used in terms of there being better continuity between the PRM and marketing functions.
We used Impartner as a partner portal, allowing resellers to submit deal registrations that we can then process within our Salesforce instance. We integrated it with Salesforce and were easily able to process deal registrations and build our channel business quickly and easily. Our channel business went from near zero to nearly half of all our business

Impartner is great for smaller channel businesses and basic partner portals. It can be easy to scale and build something that works for a more mature business, but the simple features and basic functionality can be beaten when looking at other options, like a Salesforce portal. With a larger channel business, it may make more sense to look at other options, but for a channel business that is less strong, Impartner is the way to go
