Impact makes it easy for us to manage affiliate and referral relationships. The biggest challenge is often having to login to separate accounts. This can take a lot of time and be confusing to keep track of. Impact makes it easy to identify opportunities and to apply, without the need to have to manage separate applications and accounts.

I have a YouTube channel as well as a marketing agency and I promote different products to viewers and clients that I deem beneficial to their overall success in digital marketing. One company I market and sell is called manychat who uses Impact for their affiliate program.

It seems to be a really good platform for affiliate marketing and promoters however the user interface to find and get approved from a company is extremely counterintuitive. For instance, I have gone through all the appropriate support channels for the company I want to promote (manychat) and they direct me to Impact which they send me a link that is nonexistent.

We use Impact as an advertiser. We run campaigns on behalf of the client, targeting different audiences. This allows us to get to more people and have better reach that other media don't get there. It provides detailed analytics on the web page but a very limited API to get the data and is complex to use.

  • Sometimes when you have multiple app IDs, they are not so easy to find
  • Has some fraudulent sources

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited for users who wish to expand their user base, in the case of our clients. And wish to get to more clients with an easy platform and quick setup. The setback is that the API for the data reporting is not as good as one would expect, and sometimes it has some fraudulent sources.

It has been a great tool to keep things organized, track clicks, CTR, and sales commission, customise links, and overall have the opportunity to promote a brand I align with to my network. I use it from the affiliate side, so I mainly utilize the functions that have to do with the link creation, tracking, et cetera.

Honestly, the ease of use with Impact and the variety of data offered to know what method are working or not working when handling affiliate links are both really great aspects to this program. It’s enabled me to promote products that I truly align with and love while also making money through it. It’s been a pretty simple process overall!
