Great service

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Ideagen Quality Management to collate all raw material specs and create our finished product specs. It is our space to hold all our SAQs and supplier details. It ensures technical compliance for our products as well as consistency across declarations. We have a core range which remains relatively stable through the year, but also have a variety of limited time offers throughout the year, so an online system will help this quick turnaround for new products.

Pros

  • Communication
  • Technical support
  • Reliable

Cons

  • Technical glitches (buttons not appearing when they should)

Likelihood to Recommend

Holds raw material and finished product data, and is easy to activate/deactivate specs as required. Useful for holding all supplier data on GFSI accreditation and alerts you when certification has expired and requests an update on your behalf. Allergens and nutrition in clear and easy to use format, for both raw materials and finished products.

A must have for managing your QMS

I use Ideagen Quality Management system to electronically manage and maintain my businesses QMS. Some of my favourite features are how Ideagen Quality Management enables you to have full control and traceability across all documentation, giving you the ability to see when a colleague has acknowledged a document or when a document is due for review. The ability to set reminders is excellent and comes particularly in handy if you have items or machinery that requires calibration or documentation that you wish to review regularly.

Pros

  • User friendly interface
  • Product support team easily contactable
  • Traceability and control of documentation

Likelihood to Recommend

Ideagen Quality Management is perfect for your business if you are looking to manage your QMS electronically. Its built in features allows for control over documentation, training, supplier approval CAPA and calibration to name but a few examples. My business really finds the document control element extremely beneficial and love that you are notified when a document is due for a review or when you receive an escalation email if a document has past its due date.

Ability to Stay Commercially Relevant

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As a member of the Aviation industry, Ideagen allows us to conduct compliance training at many levels across the organization, remotely. As such, this allows persons to be trained and tested without the need or expense for trainers to travel.

Pros

  • Offers training modules for staff
  • Certificate retention
  • Ability to expand your knowledge

Cons

  • Continue to offer additional courses
  • Platform could be more intuitive

Likelihood to Recommend

Truthfully, there is no scenario where I cannot see Ideagen being beneficial to a company. The ability for a company to have it's staff trained remotely is invaluable, as most of the world now lives virtually.

Couple that with the advantage of giving persons access to other modules, which may not be officially assigned to them, persons can continue to make themselves more marketable with continued learning.

Seamlessly implemented to replace our old paper based system

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a medical device company have been using Q-Pulse for 6 months now for document control, SOP'S ,incident reporting, regulatory compliance, Supplier Approval, Task Management and many other things. The main question we have now, is why didn't we implement it sooner. The difference from the previous paper based system is vast.
Seemingly simple but resource heavy tasks like gaining approval for a document have been transformed into an almost fully automated action.

Pros

  • Task Management. Uses workload in list with clickable links.
  • Document Control. Searching for documents and viewing associated properties.
  • Easy to use.
  • Cloud based so no onsite infrastructure other than the client.

Cons

  • Not fully browser based system as required a desktop client for most features.
  • Training module is inadeqaute. Luckily we have highly skilled in house personnel.

Likelihood to Recommend

Ideagen provides a consolidate platform for compliance related activities. Email communications and reminders are supportive to keep compliance up-to-date. Configurable workflows all of purpose built design to support business specific processes.

Highly recommend

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As a Quality Coordinator in a healthcare organisation, I find this application amazing. I use the desktop app daily and its pinned to my taskbar. I have primary license which I need in order to manage all the aspects of the QMS ( documents, assets, suppliers, staff workload). I am able to see acknowledgments easily and outstanding reviews, documents or change requests. From my point of view its a must have app , especially working in Quality!

Pros

  • documents management
  • assets management
  • supplier management
  • staff documents acknowledgements
  • administration of life licenses

Cons

  • updating automatically the new staff lists ( when a new license is created) -you have to do it manually at the moment which is time consuming
  • easy reports creation - quite difficult to create a report for meetings or gather data
  • when printing a specific report and trying to add more on the list for the service due assets it is not updating when selecting columns ( service due, supplier, etc)

Likelihood to Recommend

mostly user friendly, I recommended ,
a few improvements required in relation to the assets tab and documents
