Ibexa is very good if you deal with content. It can be easily connected to other platforms. Also, the client support is awesome. You can easily reach out to Ibexa directly and they will listen to your needs and provide help.
Ibexa DXP is the CMS for our 4 primary websites. Three of those sites are subscription products. One is a research tool containing over 100 years of magazines. The site allows one to search through those magazines.

We find the editorial interface still a bit simplistic. Our editors are accustomed to very sophisticated “drag and drop” wysiwyg editing tools. Ibexa DXP still has a way to go to meet their expectations.
Set up is bit complex. Spinning up a new site takes longer than you'd expect.

We have been working with Ibexa for more than 6 years, and have been through many iterations of the product, starting back when it was still eZ Publish. We are currently on v2.5, meaning we have also taken the time to go through an upgrade and migration of the product, and all the way the team at Ibexa was always there with us each step of the way to assist. The platform itself is very versatile and is great for organizations with complex structures that require a great deal of flexibility to host their digital services. While there may not be as many on the market connections with other products, if you have a good team of developers you can accomplish almost anything you like with a bit of elbow grease. The only downside is that the product itself is now in a state of a mix of old and new codebases, where the newer React-based components can cause issues and extra work when still maintaining older legacy code.

International organizations [that] have complex structures, with offices and presences around the world would be best suited to use Ibexa. The flexibility to maintain multiple websites and languages in one system is very helpful. That, and [maintaining] one brand identity easily, make the platform well suited for companies looking for a flexible, and reliable system.
We have been working with Ibexa since 2019 to host our new websites using eZ Publish. We recently upgraded to Ibexa Experience 3.3.10 and are quite pleased with the newer design and functionality. The Ibexa developers we're working with have a strong relationship and continue to help enhance our websites. Overall, we are quite pleased with the Ibexa relationship and solution.

Limited partners when you compare to other solutions (WordPress, Drupal, etc). It took us a while to find a solid, trusted developer.
Ibexa DXP runs our organization's flagship website. It was built from the ground up and tailored to reduce the amount of time it takes to make updates and changes to the site. With the new block-based technology, we can configure pages to appear unique while maintaining a level of consistency that we did not have with our old tool. Content is now micro shareable and bringing in more social acquisition than before. The layout is more streamlined and utilizes reusable content to quickly make sitewide changes if necessary.
Pros
Block technology is by far one of my favorite features of the tool. This allows us to quickly layout content in a unique manner with a variety of display options.
Micro Shareable content blocks allow users to quickly share our content across the web and drive more relevant traffic back to our site.
Reusable content blocks allow for better management of content throughout the site, ensuring accuracy with a simple update.
Cons
I really do not have any cons for the tool. If it isn’t an out-of-the-box solution, customizable configurations have been able to solve even the toughest of problems.
Likelihood to Recommend
I always recommend Ibexa DXP to my fellows. The only scenario that I would not recommend it is if the site is either too small, too simple, or that they simply cannot afford to stand it up properly.
