HG Insights Platform is best suited for scenarios where organizations need data-driven account targeting and market prioritization. It’s highly effective for go-to-market planning, helping sales and marketing teams identify accounts most likely to convert based on technology usage, spend capacity, and firmographic fit.It’s also ideal for territory and partner planning, enabling alliance and channel teams to align with partners that have complementary technology ecosystems or shared customer bases.

We use the HG Insights Platform to supplement our market-level and org-specific understanding of software spend and technology installs. It can be a very helpful platform for understanding how different cuts of customers or prospects may be spending their budget on software or building a pertinent tech stack. It can also help us understand tech install overlap and directional market sizes. Great platform.

Really strong platform for understanding software installs. Also good for fairly granular tech spend cuts. Not quite as powerful if you operate in niche markets.

We use install and intent data to help feed our propensity models and gauge what accounts are interested in speaking about and what problems they may have that need solving. We also use the HG Insights Platform as the primary firmographic base for building or matching account lists that meet criteria for any given campaign. When consolidated with our own data base as well as a few other brokers we find that we have a good overall feel on where any one account might be in a buying cycle.

For someone working in B2B IT Marketing, the HG Insights Platform has a wide range of data available that is suited for both a data level employee as well as an ISR. The one draw back is the integration with SFDC isn't as great as we'd like, meaning it is more manual for us to run propensity models using more than one source of data.

The HG Insights Platform is helpful in researching leads and data enrichment for the accounts in our database. It has a unique feature that allows you to see the software stack for each company they have a profile on and follow softwares tagged with similar categories to your product. I also find it easy to use and integrate with our CRM.

The HG Insights Platform is used for account enrichment so we can run targeted sales plays on specific segmentation. It also serves to better understand where we could run take out plays regarding understanding the software that the customers already use.

It is nice that you can create a running updated at with the HG Insights Platform data. So you can essentially establish the company changes over time i.e. growth or product changes. This is a neat feature.

Our products perform best with specific connectors. The HG Insights Platform has allowed us to find prospects with specific tech stacks that would work best with us and implement with ease. The account scoring model has also helped us prioritize our outreach efforts amongst our BDR and AE orgs. The third area in which HG Insights has helped a lot is finding new opportunities that we do not have already in system.

The HG Insights Platform has helped us with GTM planning as we segment accounts amongst our verticals. There are verticals with specific tech stacks that we would like to prioritize, and HG Insights allows us to do that. The account scoring allows us to prioritize outreach efforts. We are able to use the technographics to weigh scoring and assign those accounts out accordingly.

We use the HG Insights Platform at Google in our partner team to help our partners identify their ideal customer profile and where to focus their efforts co-selling with us.

The HG Insights Platform works when you know who is your ideal customer (ie, what characteristics you are trying to uncover.) Some people don't understand this and expect it to do more than this.
