Timely Support and Seamless Article Migration

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We had several thousand knowledge articles to migrate from Salesforce (SFDC) to Zendesk. It was critical that public articles remained public, internal-only articles stayed internal, and that all screenshots and attachments transferred correctly. In addition, we were working under a tight deadline and needed the migration completed quickly to launch our new help desk site on time.

Pros

  • Very responsive support team.
  • Great step by step instructions.
  • Ability to rerun the migration.

Cons

  • I think the field map could be a little more entuitive with better explanations of what each field is for.

Likelihood to Recommend

Thanks to the quick response from the support team, I was able to maintain an ongoing dialogue and get questions answered promptly throughout the project. Their responsiveness made it easy to request and implement specific changes, such as disabling comments on all migrated articles, without delaying our migration timeline.

Migrating from Fresh Service to Jira for Service Desk

Pros

  • Listening and gathering information
  • Transitioning work among their staff - we talked to 4 different people during the project, and ever single person was up to speed on the work and status
  • Reasonably priced

Cons

  • There is little room for improvement in the GUI

We were able to migrate and budget and time
