Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Dropbox Sign to have tenants sign documents with other organizations on MOUs, etc. It eliminates having to make the signee come into our office and make unnecessary trips when they can open their computer and sign the document. Dropbox Sign is used almost daily and is very user-friendly.

Some of our clients are elderly and unable to make a trip into our office for a wet signature, Dropbox Sign eliminates this problem.

Whenever files such as photos, documents, and videos need a signature, this tool is a great assistance that fully functions. I love how this tool works because it's convenient, and user- friendly.

I use Dropbox Sign to have new clients sign a contract. It means they don't have to print and scan or use a PDF editor.

I prefer the way that Jotform has its forms set up. I use them for photo/video releases for interviewees. If Dropbox Sign were laid out a little more like Jotform, I might consider using Dropbox Sign instead.

It's been great to get new clients to sign contracts. It's been less appropriate for general photo/video releases.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I utilize a contract with my clients so expectations are clear. Dropbox Sign helps me show them the final contact to be signed, while keeping paper waste down. I love the ability to upload my documents, and I especially love to be informed once it's signed and even when the client has looked at it. The versatility is perfect for my uses.

Dropbox Sign is perfect for my small organizing business. It keeps my contracts legit, paperless and organized. I have a contract with every client who wants my services. The contract helps clarify after our initial meeting the expectations and goals of my services. I found Dropbox sign when it was HelloSign, and I was working at a job in which we used it, and I felt like it was so easy. So I implemented it into my own business after leaving that company. I am very happy with the product Dropbox Sign.

We currently use it for contract signatures, W-9 forms, board meeting minutes which are signed by our board president, MOUs, agreements, and amendments. We also use it for staff to sign acknowledgments of policy and procedures. We honestly use it for anything that requires our clients to sign or if something external needs to be signed by our internal staff now that we work in a hybrid environment.

Pros

Easy to use.
Nice customer service.
Good instructions.

Cons

Allowing to create folders to organize the contracts.
Being able to edit the contract if an email is incorrect instead of cancelling.
Being able to create a template to allow to the cc person to stay.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it is great to send out contracts and get signatures, any scenario where we need to either sign or get a signature I think it is great - area to improve is when sending a template like the W-9 forms we have to constantly enter the email of the person who needs to get cc'ed with the completed form.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use HelloSign to send out documents that need to be signed by staff members. Our HR department uses it for all staff. Prior to HelloSign, we would have staff physically sign documents that needed signatures. It was a very time-consuming process and resulted in delays in getting documents processed. Now, HelloSign allows for quick and easy signing.

Pros

Very easy to learn how to send out documents to sign.
Very easy for staff to sign the documents, rarely do we get questions on that.
There are different fields to choose from when setting up the document to be sent out such as text, date, and signature. So, it can also be used as a form to be filled out (not just signature).

Cons

When a document needs to be changed after it has been sent out, you are not able to go into the existing signing invitation to change the document (even if the document hasn't been signed yet) so as a result, you need to cancel that invite and create a new one.
It would be helpful if it would identify which documents have been downloaded after they have been signed.
After sending out a document to be signed, it would be helpful to be able to change the signing authorities. For example, if I, first of all, designate "Joe Smith" to sign a field, but later learn that "Jack Smith" was supposed to sign, it would be nice if I could just change that without having to cancel and resend.

Likelihood to Recommend

For any organization that has staff that works virtually, it is great to not have to get a physical copy signed but it is also helpful for those that work in the same building as it saves on paper. I don't think there are situations that it wouldn't be appropriate to use HelloSign.
