This software tool is excellent. You can upload any file you wish to have an eSignature, such as a sales agreement, master service agreement, or contract between two different entities. It would save time and be better than manually signing papers, which would take a lot of time.
When customers purchase backyard structures from our company, Dropbox Sign makes it so very easy for the contract to be signed through email. I love the reminder feature for customers who are not as quick to sign as we would hope. Dropbox Sign is an invaluable tool for the success of our business!
Pros
Ease of receiving signature from customer
Awesome reminder feature if customers don't sign within three days
Cons
It is perfect for my needs as is

If a customer purchases a product over the phone, Dropbox Sign makes it easy to send them a contract and credit card authorization for their signature.
We use Dropbox Sign daily to collect signatures from our clients on fee contracts and court documents to retain us. Many of our clients live out of state, and Dropbox Sign helps us collect signatures instantly without emailing, downloading, signing, scanning, emailing, or mailing the originals back to us. It's also easy to use, track which documents are missing signatures, trigger reminders, and access any past fully executed documents.
Pros
User-friendly. No training of any sort needed to use. It's pretty self-explanatory.
Follow-ups. If a document goes unsigned, it automatically sends reminders, but you can also easily trigger reminders to be emailed.
The notifications are also super helpful. An email is sent if the signer even opens the document. It lets me know that someone saw what I sent them. I like getting another notification after they sign and a final email after everyone has signed the documents, including the executed document as an attachment. It's so helpful!
Cons
More font options. Some of the signature fonts are a little too bold. It would be nice to have more options that look realistic (not bold nor too neat).
Odd font size options are all even numbers. It would be nice to pick a font size between two numbers.
An "X" option for checkboxes instead of the check mark.

Someone who has never used Dropbox Sign before could quickly figure it out without needing a tutorial or guide. It is very useful in instantly collecting signatures and keeping others in the loop as well, even if they aren't signers. I love that there's an option to cc someone in basically and they'll be able to see the documents and when it's signed. It's also impossible to miss a document not being signed because it automatically sends reminders to signers if they do not sign and emails reminders daily, letting me know how many documents are pending signatures.
My experience with Dropbox Sign's G2 marketing campaign left me feeling pretty let down. It just seemed like they weren't being totally upfront with their customers. And when it comes to the product itself, I've gotta say, it's not exactly blowing me away. Plus, I've heard some worrying things about security issues. Honestly, I wouldn't feel right recommending it to anyone, especially if they're concerned about keeping their stuff safe. I use sign for two of my businesses and considering different product at this time.
Pros
Nothing
Not a lot
Negligible difference
Cons
Security
User experience
Core functionality

I've really given Dropbox Sign a fair shot, but I just can't bring myself to recommend it to anyone. Security is a big deal for me, and unfortunately - in my experience, it falls short in that department. Plus, when it comes to using it, I feel the whole experience is just kind of meh. It's not terrible, but it's definitely not wowing me either. And then there's the price... For what they're asking, in my opinion, there are definitely better options out there that offer more bang for your buck. All in all, I'd say it's worth exploring other alternatives before committing to Dropbox Sign.

I think Dropbox Sign is for you if you are in need of a platform that lets you easily and virtually sign documents or contracts. Especially if you are working remotely with clients, this makes it super seamless to send new clients docs without them having to figure out a way to sign and return them.
I personally feel so sick of the games and the run-around with Dropbox Sign. Called 4 times before I was billed asking them how to remove my credit card or stop auto billing but it was my experience, they did neither. In my experience, they canceled my plan but billed me $1630 anyways! I am personally disgusted by their lack of ethics. Also, I believe there are far less expensive options!
Pros
In my opinion, waste your times with customer support
In my experience, they bill you and refuse access to service
Cons
In my experience, customer service
In my experience, cancelling autobilling
In my experience, removing credit card without adding a new one
In my opinion, not holding people hostage to their subscription

In my experience, it works for digital signing but so do dozens of other less expensive services with all the same features and more. Auto send sign request, etc. In my opinion, same basic stuff but fewer features than other ones like Zoho Sign, SignNow, and many other ones.

I use Dropbox Sign to have tenants sign documents with other organizations on MOUs, etc. It eliminates having to make the signee come into our office and make unnecessary trips when they can open their computer and sign the document. Dropbox Sign is used almost daily and is very user-friendly.

Enhanced contract speed

Cons
Sometimes compatibility issues

Some of our clients are elderly and unable to make a trip into our office for a wet signature, Dropbox Sign eliminates this problem.
Cloud storage initially, changing a paper based office to an electronic office - what a great relief to do this! Manual signatures to E signatures - why did I not see or use this functionality sooner? What a Godsend! Thsi has improved efficiencies way above my expectations as clients do not have scanners, cannot come in or keep appointments.... blah blah blah. I can even monitor outstanding E signatures through the automatically pending emails.
Pros
E signature for getting clients to sign who don't have scanners and find an excuse not to do it - no excuses now!
E signature for ensuring everything is properly signed and where to sign
E Signature for compliance and state stamping purposes - yet another great attribute
Cons
All of my product providers need to recognize this as E signing software - not quite there yet
It would be great if would specifically sync in with the product providers that accept this E signing format
The dating format would be better if it defaulted to Australian ways i.e. day/month/year
Likelihood to Recommend
Why did I not do this sooner! E signing and storage all in one. It assists in compliance orientated documentation for my very compliant profession, and also creates an audit trail. What more could I ask for? I have contractual agreements which must be signed by a due date and this platform really assist in making this a reality.
