Use Cases and Deployment Scope

So far having a great experience with Hatica. I really like the DORA metrics and the maker time dashboard which are useful to measure my team’s meeting load and also identify whether they have enough time to concentrate on serious projects.

Cons

No support to customise dashboards.
Lots of metrics so need some time to learn

Has been amazing to schedule my day depending on what deadline or important tasks I have, can use the maker time dashboard to see where I have spent more time - meetings or tasks, etc. Also great to see the activity log with work status

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I really believe in the comprehensive engineering management approach of the SPACE framework. I couldn’t find a tool that put the framework into practice, especially combining developers’ digital well-being and experience and productivity metrics. But I discovered Hatica and after using the platform and speaking with the founders about their approach to dev management, I am convinced that Hatica is the best tool to manage engineering productivity.

There are so many metrics that you’re able to measure - it can get overwhelming at first
We had a walkthrough session with the founder that helped us approach the platform with more confidence so maybe they can include help documents for first-time users

Engineering team management can be done better if we use metrics and the SPACE metrics are the best in that aspect. This product follows that research to deliver great analytics for team management. We also really like that the support is very hands-on, integration happened without any glitches and works well with our stack

I think the best outcome from using Hatica has been better visibility into what’s actually happening in my team. I'm feeling a lot more confident about meeting release deadlines because I'm able to understand our metrics better and also the activity log helps to identify team’s work patterns which I can use to optimize delivery speed.

The reports feature makes our team management more proactive. We are able to identify and deal with issues as they occur rather than solve problems after they occur, and this has helped our team to deliver results without delays.

My aim was to increase the availability of deep work & focus time for my team and reduce the tendency to stay “available” at all times. With Hatica’s maker time metric, I was able to measure our baseline deep work time, optimize our meetings and improve the availability of focus time.
