Save time and effort using Shift

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

gShift has changed the way I use email and all the other communication apps such as Gmail, Slack, monday.com, Trello, Google Analytics, etc. I can access all of these tools in one application and I don't have to switch between a bunch of different tabs. I can also have multiple Gmail accounts to toggle from which has been a game-changer for me. I love this app!

Pros

  • Bringing most of your applications to one platform.
  • Managing Gmail Accounts.
  • Bringing all your communication channels to one spot.
  • Easy setup and account integration.

Cons

  • I have a hard time opening video conference call links when opening them from the shift app. Many times it wont let me share my screen.
  • I had to adjust the settings to open links into my regular chrome browser rather than opening the shift browser.
  • I would prefer to use my password manager application rather than saving all my passwords again in the shift browser.

Most Important Features

  • Integrating multiple Apps into one place.
  • Being able to manage multiple gmail accounts in one app.
  • Easy setup and integration.

Return on Investment

  • Saves time for team members.

gShift Provides Comprehensive Reporting and Traffic Analysis for Multi-Client Environments

Pros

  • Keyword Rankings - gShift allows you to track keywords by search engine, by device, and by location, giving you side-by-side views how you rank and appear in all use cases. gShift also tracks Google local map rankings, which provides greater insight for businesses with multiple rooftops and locations that want visibility into how customers can find them in different geographical regions of a metro area or on mobile vs. desktop.
  • White-labeled reporting - gShift allows you to run competition reports, keyword ranking reports, and comprehensive web analytics reports that pull in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Google Search Console data, making it less likely you have to provide your clients with separate reports from separate, third-party solutions.
  • Custom Dashboards - somewhat similar to Google's dashboard functionality although more limited in scope, you can create custom dashboards to share with members of your organization in real-time or export via PDF.

Cons

  • Minor bugs and defects are an ongoing issue - for example, PDF export capability for custom dashboards seems to be down frequently. While these type of defects are always resolved in 1-2 weeks, the fact that some of them keep reoccurring is an ongoing frustration.
  • Custom Dashboard functionality is limited to pre-set defaults as far as what data points or "beacons" as gShift calls them, that you could pull.

Return on Investment

  • We have been able to identify other keyword ranking opportunities and increase our on-site conversion rate.
  • gShift has helped us prioritize content and discover content that is over-performing, and better optimize that content and use it for remarketing purposes.
