It is great for small meetings and working with teams remotely. It’s good for sharing screens and quick check-ins. It’s not as good for big events or fancy backgrounds. It also doesn’t have as many custom options as some other tools.

We use this in addition to Teams in order to have conference calls with internal and external people. Some external customers use GoToMeeting as their primary conferencing tool.
I would say that overall, the conference tools are very similar. I do feel like GoTo Meeting has less features, but this makes it simpler to use.
Pros
Conference Calls
Video Calls
Screen Sharing
Audio/Video
Simplicity of Software
Cons
Synchronization with Office
Ability to edit and share documents live inside the app
Max number of participants is low if you want an all-company meeting
Likelihood to Recommend
Overall, it seems that most people and companies use teams and then Zoom is the next backup for this. With that being said they prefer to use the tools they are most familiar with and use the most. It does well for Video/Conference calls, but I feel like it would be leaving teams and going back to Skype.

We usually use GoTo Meeting for our online meetings, especially emergency meetings when we all need to come together to discuss a critical issue or take a decision. The flexibility of GoTo Meeting addresses two main business problems. One is location differences as we live at different locations which makes coming together physically for an emergency meeting almost impossible. Secondly, platform compliance as people may not always have their laptops on them and other online meeting apps do not work as seamlessly on different phones as the GoTo Meeting app.
Pros
The video and audio is very good
The interface is simple so users are able to easiily navigate their way through it.
it is also Cross platform compliant as it can be accessed across various user platforms
The service is accessible 24/7
Can take a large number of participants
Cons
Scheduling meeting is complex. Thus, it is preferrable to use GoTo Meeting for emergency meetings but other meeting apps for planned meetings.
The look and feel is quite basic. This is of for informal meetings but not ok for professional meetings.
integration with other third-party applications
Likelihood to Recommend
GoTo Meeting is well suited for emergency meeting due to its cross-platform compatibility, User-friendly interface and ease of use. When working with people who are not very Tech savvy GoTo Meeting is preferrable as you are sure that they will be able to navigate the service with little to no difficulty. Also, when people do not have access ti their laptop, it is preferrable to use GoTo Meeting as you are quite sure that no matter the type of smart phone they are using they will not have compatibility issues accessing GoTo Meeting service on their phones.

I find GoTo Meeting effective for all virtual meetings and for hosting webinar's for less than 100 participants. It's a very powerful tool that allows me to share and collaborate during proposals with my clients and I've never had any connectivity issues so I know I can trust that the meeting will go smoothly.
Having meetings with high audio and screen sharing quality while the software is pretty easy to use for non-techies. Basic meeting features should be available and the software should be stable and reliable so that the meeting doesn't have much interruptions. It should also be easy to schedule the meeting and remind participants via email.
Pros
Screen sharing
Reliability
Intuitive usage
Cons
Outdated design
Managing participants
Likelihood to Recommend
It is very well suited for non-tech users which don't need any special features but just want to use a meeting software which is well structured and reliable so that the meeting doesn't have interruptions. High quality of audio and video is important as well as a intuitive design. It should be easy to add or remove participants from the scheduled meeting and also it's important to have a good overview over the currently attending people and a nice visualization of who is currently speaking.

I have used GoTo Meeting for virtual inter-office meetings and meetings with external associates. It was especially helpful when working fully remotely.
Pros
Easy to connect
Easy to share screen
Pricing cheaper than competitors
Likelihood to Recommend
Good product for the price - its a great solution for simple virtual meetings both externally and internally. I wouldn't use it for a huge meeting with a lot of collaborators, and I dislike the lack of virtual backgrounds for confidentiality/privacy.
We are into staffing and recruitment and we need to connect with the recruiters, candidates and the client. So, whenever we are talking with the team of recruiters we schedule meeting through GoTo Meeting and also while talking with the candidate through GoTo Meeting we will add recruiter who sourced the candidate to make sure we both are in same page. Finally we used to have a regular call with the clients regarding the open requirements for the day. At that time we will add recruiters also to make sure they are sourcing profiles as per the client needs.
