We use Google Workspace all day every day. Google Workspace is versatile; it's not limited to just email; you have access to all the tools you can ask for from Google Meet, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive, and the list continues. It's extremely easy to collaborate and manage your workspace on Google.
Pros
Email
Meetings
Spreadsheets
Documetnts
Cloud storage
Cons
Sheets can have more shortcuts similar to Excel.
The pricing can be better.
Better compatibility features with third party softwares such as Slack.

Google Workspace is the answer to all your workspace requirements. Google Workspace handles all are basic requirements from meetings to emails to collaboration on excel files or presentations; once you go Google there is no turning back. There are all the tools available one can ask to manage their day-to-day work life. It all goes hand in hand across all your devices via cloud, so you don't have to worry about loosing your data at all.
We currently use Google Workspace for many purposes. We use Slides for our quarterly presentations. We use Sheets with an extension to sync with our CRM (Copper). We use Docs to draft departmental guides/rulebooks. We use Google Meet for inter-company meetings. We also use Google Drive to store media from Zoom recordings, as well as for future social media posts. And of course we use Google Calendar for each team member's work schedule.
Pros
Google Calendar...amazing. I don't need to ask team members when they're busy anymore and play this game of bouncing times back and forth. All I need to do is enter their email address and it shows my calendar and theirs side by side and then select the day and time I find that works best for the both of us.
I actually prefer Google Meet over Zoom. Zoom bogs down my computer and I find their UI overcomplicated for what it actually does. Google Meet is simple and does practically everything Zoom does without needing to pay any extra money.
Sheets integrates with our CRM (Copper) so it's perfect for us. Being able to export information out of our CRM into sheets and then create pivot tables from that data makes our lives a million times better.
Cons
There's something about Google Docs that feels a bit...flat. Yes, it's a word processor so there's not much one can do but compared to Apple Pages, the aesthetic of Google's templates is very bland.
File management is a nightmare in Google Drive. The entire flow feels clunky and it winds up causing an extreme amount of disorganization within our company.
I do wish there were an option to download the entire Gsuite into one app, rather than having to download each program onto my mobile device. Since the Gsuite is kind of contained within one browser, the expectation is there for the apps to kind of exist all in one place. Instead, I need to switch from one app to another in order to achieve whatever needs to be done in each app.

Since our company is structured around Google Workspace at the moment, it is well suited for our entire workflow. I do have concerns though, for when it comes time for our company to have our own intranet built and how well the data migration will be from Google Workspace to that intranet that gets built.
Single point of contact for all file information, project management resources and client contact. Acts as our main email repository and file management solution. We use features such as emails through gmail, email aliases for continuity, google docs, google sheets, google slides, google drive for file storage and sharing, google photos, YouTube and occasionally google calendar. We use multiple accounts for multiple organizational units.
Pros
Email management and organization
File storage and organization
User management and resource allocation
Cons
Advanced email message processing rules and features
Email marketing and targeted communications thru mail-merge features
Likelihood to Recommend
For mid sized companies where each user will have their own account for collaborating, sharing and using the apps and services. It is less suited if you have an existing email or separate institutional account, as the two services do not integrate well for messages. G-Suite is very user friendly and easy to adopt. The included features are robust.
Google Workspace is being used for full collaboration across the organization. We are also using it for all messaging (Gmail, Chat, Meet) to communicate internal and externally with our employees and customers. Currently, we do not use any MS Office applications to have a better ROI for the organization. It has easy integrations with other SaaS applications that we use.
Pros
Feature releases
Uptime
Integration between SaaS programs, like Salesforce
Cons
Sheet functions and limitations
Better Chat integrations to keep up with Slack
Redlining in Docs
Likelihood to Recommend
Google Workspace is a simple to use messaging and collaboration platform that is universal between most electronic devices for ease of use. Platform administrators should feel comfortable with the various enterprise levels of security that can be configured. Extra training is needed for those in Executive Admin type roles in dealing with the Executives that they support.
Google Workspace is being used across my whole organization. It addresses a myriad of business problems, such as being able to collaborate on documents, solving our email provider issue, and allowing us to communicate easily with one another through GChat/Hangouts. I have enjoyed using each piece of Google Workspace. I primarily use Docs, Sheets, Forms, Gmail, and Hangouts in my day-to-day.
Pros
Collaboration on documents
Communication across teams/departments
Email provider solution
Easy to learn
Intuitive
Cons
Difficult translating Excel formulas to Google Sheets
It would be nice to have a hub for all of the programs included in Google Workspace
It would be nice to be able to move embedded Hangouts around in the Gmail web interface
Likelihood to Recommend
Google Workspace is well suited for businesses looking to expand their potential for communication and collaboration on documents. It is also well suited for companies that need a cloud-based solution for a document repository. It is less appropriate if the business does not need collaboration on documents or other user-created creations.

We as a business used Google Workspace tools to collaborate on multi-user files and cloud computing opportunities across our business. We implemented it in 2015 and have since consolidated our cloud software to exit the Google Workspace of products for another vendor, but I continue to use the tools personally where I can.
Pros
Multi user interface.
Autosave and version history.
Notifications
Cons
Sheets tools were lacking in comparison to other tools.
Government restrictive projects and lack of secure cloud locations.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is very useful to use in a cloud environment, however, if you or your business works on various restricted programs, the higher level of secure cloud storage is required to remain in compliance.

We use Google Workspace [(formerly G Suite)] as our primary email, chat/messaging, video call and office productivity system across our organization.
The system provides a robust set of tools making remote work scenarios and collaboration easier than many competing solutions. With strong MS-Office compatibility now available we have dramatically reduced the usage of MS Office in our organization.
We removed many phone extensions from employees who were instead able to communicate using Google’s tools, for a dramatic telephony cost savings.
Pros
Video meetings and collaboration for teams
Quickly searchable document folders (team drives etc) which can reduce the need for traditional file shares
Robust and broadly supported email
Best in class multi user document collaboration
Cons
More granular security controls
More robust DLP
Likelihood to Recommend
[Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) is] extremely well suited to startups, small orgs etc with low barrier to entry and many productivity features. While still useful for larger enterprises, existing larger orgs may find it challenging to migrate to a new solution, particularly if you are a Microsoft-heavy org. Office365 has less barrier to entry for these orgs due to app familiarity of Office, Excel etc. While Google have good alternatives in Docs, Sheets, Slides etc re-training of employees is required and it would be a cultural shift.

We use Google Workspace throughout the entire organization, primarily taking advantage of Gmail, Drive, and Sites. We use groups to containerize users and control access to resources internally, primarily centering around file access. Since our teams are globally distributed we rely on Google Workspace to be the core of every communication we have, including customer support, sales and meetings. As [a] global workforce, we're able to reliably stay in contact with each other despite the distance that separates us.
Pros
Simplified sharing and collaboration through Drive and Shared Drives
Greatly enhanced advanced functions in Google sheets like macro recording
Regular updates and proactive communication around them
Out of the box spam filtering
SSO and third party app integrations
Cons
The support team is frustrating to deal with and make you perform redundant troubleshooting tasks at each step of the way
Per page permissions on Sites - they had it on classic but removed it on the new sites
Need to add mail delegation to admin console so super admins can give managers access to departed staff accounts without having to reset passwords
Longer log history - 60 days sometimes doesn't cut it
Likelihood to Recommend
Google Workspace is ideal for companies of any size and geographic configuration. Their billing structure is easy to understand and it's easy to get set up. All the apps work as soon as you log in so setup is extremely easy especially for companies just signing up or enterprises migrating from on-prem or hybrid setups to a full cloud solution.
If you're a nonprofit you get the core suite for free, which is a huge deal since the cost savings mean any nonprofit can get set up with no risk.

Google Workspace is used across the company. It is our primary email tool. We also use the Drive and various document features (such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.). We integrate it with Slack and many of us have Drive on our local laptops. It helps us to collaborate across departments and externally (with clients and business partners).
Pros
Realtime collaboration in documents
Easy ability to share files
Ability to view and recover past version
The calendar customization and features are great
Cons
Email formatting is inconsistent
Email doesn't have advanced features like Outlook and Exchange does such as read receipts
Now that our company has grown, would like to see better ways to view/manage calendar availability
Likelihood to Recommend
I think Google Workspace scales easily - it seems easy for our admin to provision new users. However, I wish when we added new employees, their calendars would automatically appear in my list of available calendars. Instead, I have to manually add each person, which led to some misses last year as we brought on a record 20+ new employees. And then seeing availability is also tricky. So I find calendar management less than ideal. Document collaboration is great! I love the ability to collaborate real-time on files, and now that they added the ability to upload/convert Microsoft formats, it's even better.
Google Workspace is our primary calendar, email, and network sharing file repository for my company. We use the G chat, email groups, and SMTp services.
Pros
Email
Mobile security
Group email
Domain manegement
Cons
Domain level access to company emails
Domain level access to email forwarding and auto reply
Domain level management of email archiving during employee separation
Likelihood to Recommend
Google Workspace is great for setting up new users and deploying apps to a domain or group. However, the managers cannot review or manage individual user's emails or setup mass auto-responses for users or mass management of signatures.
