Google Drive acts as a central hub for our organization. Whether storing Raw video footages, editing files to organize project documents and social media assets. Since our organization is headquartered at multiple location, some employees working on site, remote or in hybrid setup. Its essential to connect them with a single point of contact where Google Drive plays a crucial role. It eliminates the chaos of file mismatch and seamlessly connects our employees regardless of there locations whether they are at home, Cafe's or travelling. They can connect easily via any available device by laptop or phone. We also use Google Drive in real time through shared folders whether we had a brain storming session or spreading. Google Drive ensures to always let us sync. It flawlessly address the issue of remote collaboration, secured cloud storage and easy file retrieval replacing the traditional and time consuming process of sharing files via email or other source. The search functionality makes it a very viable tool as multiple departments of same organization can track or search files as per need. Its smooth integration with other tools of Google ecosystem is just phenomenal. Scope-wise Google Drive is used by our multiple departments of organization. Lastly if some looking for data centric, secured and reliable tool Google Drive would be best available option in market.

Limited Free Storage, A slight increase in free tier would be great for small enterprises or individuals
File organization can get difficult, If multiple files are being organized and segregated at once it becomes chaotic. A tree view or smart sorting like features would be essentially required in it.
Quite slower loading on low network area, while on the move drive takes quite a long time to load. A light weighted basic mode would make it quite accessible.
Shared Folder Confusion. Sometimes employees move or delete folder accidently which affects everyone. More permissions granularity would significantly reduce these errors.
Mobile could be more smoother, Although it works fine but navigating it or uploading large files get sometimes clunky. Improvements in speed, performance and UX would be better for users.

Likelihood to Recommend

Google Drive is a game changer for me in both personal and professional manner. Whether I am collaborating for file sharing it provides smooth cloud based experience with synchronization. Its integration with other tools of Google ecosystem is seamless. It provides cloud backup and storage which makes it highly valuable in storing documents like sale and purchase invoices. We are also using it storing contracts, real time operations related documents as well as other ongoing projects that can be accessed from anywhere. Its collaboration with inhouse teams or clients is just fabulous and sharing large files to them is quite effortless. We can also share secured links with permission controls which is very easy and secure. Its ability to work whether on laptop, smartphone or other devices is seamless makes a best cross device platform. Although its a versatile tool but also has some limitations like if we are sharing ultra heavy files it can't be done in free version, Google Drive may not be ideal without paid storage. Also its offline usage is limited. One can access docs if permission is enabled but would not be ideal for large files or real time work.

I have a very long history of utilising Google Drive. This is where I mostly keep my info. We all know how safe Google is, thus the security that Google Drive offers is the most incredible feature.Because Google is incredibly trustworthy and I have to exchange sometimes large amounts of data as a developer, I go with Google Drive.Additionally, it offers a fantastic and user-friendly mobile application that makes working on the go simple.I also thought the offline option was really fantastic. There isn't any downtime.The role based access mechanism is perfect and very helpful.
I have more storage capacity as a premium member right now, and I am very satisfied with it.

Pros

Sharing and saving personal data with high security and facing no downtime.
The regular backup feature always helped me not lose my sensitive data.
The offline feature is really good as I have to look at or read some of my PDFs or books without the internet.
Role-based sharing is really helpful as it restricts users.

Cons

May be the UI can be improved a bit, like it can be made simpler and easy to use, especially for a non-tech person.
I think as Google is a big company they should provide more free space. As we heavily depend on Google the data storage seems less to me.
There should be a proper spam detection. I have felt sometimes there spam detection seems broken.

Likelihood to Recommend

As I already mentioned whenever I have to store my data or share with my colleagues I always prefer Google Drive due to Google security. Even for offline reading I mostly use Google Drive. Backups are great feature as lot of time we forgot to take backup and we accidentally delete some files which is a mess to recover it. The spam detection feature should be improved and may be improved. Also the UI/UX can be made more simpler and should be easily located for non tech person.

I usually use Google Drive to share files with my colleagues, it's pretty easy and helpful, the file system can be divided into sections just like the one used on your personal Operative System. The application for windows simplifies furthermore all the processes giving the possibility to perform all the operations from the OS's file system.

Limit of file size you can upload in a day.
Security Risks.
File Size Limits.

Likelihood to Recommend

Google Drive is very suitable in cases where you need to share files, documents, and information with many people, for example with your team. On the other hand, you should avoid sharing sensitive data (passwords, customer information, etc..). The shared drives are managed by Google and of course, are available on the web. If an attacker could get in, your data would be compromised.

We are using Google on a daily basis day to day life for creating and managing spreadsheets for creating PRD and SRS documents and many more. This is primarily used and we can share all the documents with any mode to another user like read, write, or comment so that according to this we can take the action on it.

As according to my use case it is fulfilling all my requirement so i don't have as such requirement which is not implemented here.

There are so many features which are extensively used here so I would recommend to everyone to use this. Here we can also work as a team on a particular document which is an awesome feature because everyone is working remotely so everyone can see what others are doing on a particular document. We can store every type of file here and share the public link if we want.

We use Google Drive to save the business documents. It helps us to share the documents securely with authorized users only. Also, we can preview a few files such as pdf and images within Google Drive only. It also helps keep the versions of different files whenever we upload the same file.

It's very user-friendly, users can quickly learn to share, and save their documents. Also one can manage their documents as they manage them on their hard drives. Add or remove the shared users easily, also uploading and deletion of files are easy. It has a trash facility where it can store the deleted items like recycle bin on the computer.

It is the main cloud storage location for the company. It solves communication problems, it's used as an information wall and also retains sensitive data managed by admin users for several accounts. The scope of use is wide; mechanics use it for installation guides storage, office use it for sensitive data retention, sells use it for customer personal information.

Fast content updates.

Cons

The app could implement a hierarchy based structure.
Quick notifications for permissions request could make everything easier.
Faster is always better. Rapid file transfers would be great.

Google Drive is great for storing personal data and sharing public information. It might suit a scenario where an individual needs to store in an organized way his/her identification credentials. Anyhow, if limited space is a problem, maybe an individual would prefer storing tons of large video files on a fast storage physical unit rather than google drive.

Used by production department as a cloud drive to keep information about projects up to date and accessible while workers are deployed on site
Accessible from a tablet so as workers in charge can have access to all the information they need on site visits without having to print it and without using any complicated intermediate software

This app is used just by our department. We use this app to share various files with our employees. With the help of this app, we solve the problem of the need of a platform with which one can easily share anything one wants. With the help of just a single link, employees can share the same file with hundreds of employees, which makes task sharing very easy.

Pros

This app stores huge amounts of data with no problems
This app lets you share your files with as many people as you want with help of links
This app also contains a very good PDF reader, which is very useful

Cons

With Google Drive, one can only store 15 GB of data for free. Many other services allow much more data to be stored.
Google Drive's interface is a bit complicated to use for beginners. There's a good scope for simplification of the same.
The prices for more storage are much higher than many other cloud services, so the prices can be made cheaper.

In scenarios where not much storage is needed but a feature for the sharing of files with a large number of people is essential, Google Drive proves to be a great option to use. For example, if one wants to share some documents with a huge amount of employees in the company, one can use Google Drive without any problems.

I have been using Google Drive personally for backup storage and document edition options in addition to Microsoft Cloud Services.

Microsoft Office 360 comes with built-in Office packs including MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc., but sometimes they have diverse problems. I use Google Drive in order to finish up my work and meet the expectations of my leads. It works like a great swiss army knife for any organization problems. Since the official KSquare University software is MS Office pack, we usually work with that. But, if your company needs to use different tools in a single place, Google Drive and the rest of Google's services are the way to go.

Enhance Google Docs options.
Different views of your documents.
Total storage pie chart showing percentages of the number of documents in storage.
