Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Google Classroom for posting assignments and announcements for my classes as a middle school Graphic Design teacher in Texas. Google Classroom allows students to have easy access to all assignments, resources and an organized place to turn in their assignments. This also allows students the ability to access their class materials remotely.

Google Classroom allows teachers to post for daily lessons and assignments. It also allows teachers to be able to communicate with students easily outside of class. Students are able to stay connected and know where to find all information and resources easily in a streamlined manner for all of their classes.

We use Google Classroom for class management two semesters a year: to upload assignments, documents (e.g syllabus), communicate with students as wel as inter-class communications.

Pros

Observe submitted assignments
Able to recreate prior terms to use again

Cons

Tracking feedback within documents not intuitive
Easy for actual ucoming assignments to get lost amidst the other past and future tasks.

Likelihood to Recommend

Google Classroom is fairly intuitive, and can accomplish basic tasks such as uploading documents, posting instructions, but I would not want to use it for assessments or grade tracking.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Google Classroom to present an online Grade 5 Math course for homeschooled students. Google Classroom provides an easy and intuitive manner in which to plan, prepare, order and present my lessons. The platform also provides the functionality to create assignments and test which my students can complete and submit. Google Classroom also helps me capture and track assignment and test scores of all my students.

Pros

Create and order Lessons, easily accesible to the tutor and the students.
Create assignments which can be submitted and graded online.
Capture and manage grades for the whole class

Cons

The Lesson description has limited word/image formatting options, but I guess the idea is to attach the "meat" of the lesson.
Google Classroom automatically integrates with Google Drive which is great, I would like a bit more control in organizing Google Drive folders.
Google Classroom also automatically integrates with Google Calendar which is also fantastic. This integration only applies to Assignments though, not to Lesson "material".

Likelihood to Recommend

Any type of online education can be facilitated with Google Classroom. The platform is packed with functionality to make the Tutor/Teacher's job easier and to make the student's learning experience easier. From integration with Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar and Meet to even embedding YouTube videos which all makes the 21'st century classroom engaging and interactive.

Cons

I wish I could copy a class. I have to remake the same class each quarter to have archived official grades for each quarter
I wish I could pick settings for how I like to grade and have them set as default for every class instead of having to redo it every time I create a new class

As a training assistant, I use Google Classroom to deliver courses and organize them in order to help students better manage their classes and have them readily available. This facilitates understanding and integration for students, even the most shy ones.The platform is a great help for our organization as it allows us to better manage our courses and deliver them to each learner.

I would like for it to add certain features such as live streaming of classes, similar to a Google Meet video. This would allow students to better understand their lessons.

After three years of experience and usage, I find it to be the perfect tool for those who want to conduct online classes and deliver courses. The application has been of great help to me, especially during the Covid period.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Use nearly daily in my classroom for in class assignments and hybrid learning. Rather than having to maintain copies of notes and extra assignments for absent students. Being linked with out LMS also makes grading super easy as I can comment and grade assignments right in Classroom and migrate grades into our system with one click.

Cons

Doesn't integrate will with non Google file types.
Work is lost of student leaves class.
Cannot edit share settings after posting assignment.

Likelihood to Recommend

Great for k-12 applications, but may not be robust enough for some post-secondary applications that may require more content specific programs. When a specific program is needed and that program is not made by Google it likely won't work on classroom and will simply have a link to the other website.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The first time, our teachers introduced Google Classroom. The easy-to-use and clean UI makes the software more usable. We used to run our classes through Google Classroom. It allows you to conduct the class on time, and the reminder feature is just awesome. - We use the product to track the syllabus and classes. - The integration with Google Products is seamless. Nothing to worry about or switch to other apps. - Get notifications on new assignments or get marking for those assignments. - Integration with Calendar allows the user never to forget any deadline or timetable.

Pros

Clean and Simple User Interface makes the productivity fast.
Has built-in third-party apps as well as a huge library of Google built-in plugins like plagiarism checker.
Good Multi Device support.
Sharing and Collaboration between the students and teachers is good.

Cons

The content management of the Classroom is not that good. The sub-section for notes, syllabus, or discussion is missing.
It doesn't have parental control feature.
It converts the excel output into a normal file. All the formulas and pivots got changed into plain text.

Likelihood to Recommend

- During the pandemic, the college needs a fast and easy solution to conduct Google Classroom. The integration with Google Accounts and Google Meet allows the university to run and access the Classroom on a large scale. - The teacher wants to conduct some exams in third-party software like Moodle. But we have not found any plugin for this famous open-source learning platform. The exam system in Google Classroom is so poor that it doesn't even fully screen the test when students are writing their exams.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Google Classroom in our junior school to manage assignment tracking and collaboration between students in class.
Our teachers will post assignments, to be completed by students, and return work with feedback.
Teachers are able to manage student progress by being linked to a shared document so they can see, in real time, how students are progressing their work in class.

Google Classroom is great for junior classrooms where students need to do simple tasks that a teacher needs to manage. Setting up classes is simple and manageable, by teachers, with little assistance needed from ICT. Students can navigate on any device type(Computer, tablet etc.). It would be great if feedback could be linked back to a schools central database to save double handling. Differentiating work types would also be a welcome addition to the Google Classroom toolset.

Problem that Google Classroom is solving is bringing student-teacher interaction classer.

Pros

Virtual discussion - It provide discussion section for every post.
Sharing Resources - It provide resource sharing option.
Assignment Q&A - We can post Assignment in google classroom.

Cons

Plagiarism checker- It does not work properly.
Google Classroom system allows teachers to grade with authenticity and doesn't provide only one grade for a particular document or assignment.
It does have its own limitations in terms of how students see the information.
