Gmelius is an amazing productivity tool for GMail - we use it for email templates, tracking email opens and responses, scheduling emails and campaigns, scheduling appointments with it's calendar feature and more. One favourite use case is to setup templates for common replies to inquiries - these templates can be customized to include the recipients name and other relevant information.
Pros
Templated Emails
Appointment settings
Campaigns and sequences
Tracking opens
Cons
Some of the design elements could be improved
Formatting of email templates is shaky - defaults not saved

Templates, to save time - commonly repeated emails are setup as templates, that can be customized to include the recipients (and others cc-ed) names, emails and other relevant information. Even where personalized messages are more appropriate, templates can be used to set a common start point structure for that email. We also use Gmelius for scheduling and campaigns.
Gmelius has been a lifesaver for my business for one big reason: templates. We have created a lot of templates for every email you can imagine that a client would need to see. Instead of the team repeatedly writing things out, they click the template and just type in the name. There are other features that I'm interested in trying out, too, but I haven't had the chance to yet. One of those features is the shared inbox feature, so my team and I can see what emails are coming in and out of the system and assign urgency depending on the sender. So far, Gmelius has been awesome in the 3 years I have used it, and I plan to keep implementing it to help my business grow.
Pros
Templates.
Sync with Gmail.
Read Receipts.
Cons
Easier access to dashboard.
Ability to edit email names more if a person's name doesn't match up with their Gmail account.

Gmelius is perfectly suited for making templates for emails to go out to clients. You can easily share the templates with your team, too, so that everyone has access to them. Gmelius also does a great job of tracking emails so you can confirm the information was received by clients. It is not great to send emails out directly from the mobile app or Gmelius itself, but as a plugin it's perfect.

We used Gmelius company-wide (as a small agency with only about 5-7 employees). As a PR agency, we needed a way to easily track who had been pitched for which clients, so we mainly used Gmelius for the labeling and inbox sharing features. Initially, we also used the campaign features to send email blasts, but Gmelius changed the services it offered for our level of membership, so unfortunately we lost access to that.
Pros
Tracking email opens
Email blast tool
Persistent customer service
Cons
Inbox sharing/labelling features
usability - could be more user friendly
Changing services/tools offered without warning

Gmelius has a lot of potential for businesses that need easy ways to share emails, labels, or inboxes. It is also good for those who send out press releases or other high-volume emails. Lastly, it's helpful for email tracking needs, such as pitching media and knowing whether to follow up based on if/when your emails were opened.
