Gmelius is an amazing productivity tool for GMail - we use it for email templates, tracking email opens and responses, scheduling emails and campaigns, scheduling appointments with it's calendar feature and more. One favourite use case is to setup templates for common replies to inquiries - these templates can be customized to include the recipients name and other relevant information.
Pros
Templated Emails
Appointment settings
Campaigns and sequences
Tracking opens
Cons
Some of the design elements could be improved
Formatting of email templates is shaky - defaults not saved

Templates, to save time - commonly repeated emails are setup as templates, that can be customized to include the recipients (and others cc-ed) names, emails and other relevant information. Even where personalized messages are more appropriate, templates can be used to set a common start point structure for that email. We also use Gmelius for scheduling and campaigns.
Gmelius is my 5-star sales tool for email management. I do all of my lead generation campaigns out of it. I love how easy it is to do in general but really love the sequences. It also keeps track of my "unsubscribes" to ensure that I don't send an email accidentally. The reporting is maybe my favorite. I love that not only can I see how many times they've opened it, but any connected email action from it. Gmelius also helps me stay on top of my follow-ups for potential clients. I can schedule and sequence all of my "blanket" follow-ups in one quick upload (after creating my follow-up sequence, of course) and stay focused on getting leads converted and closing business. It's working when I am sleeping, making dinner, talking to clients, sleeping, etc., and is so great that I am 100% confident everything is getting done. I highly recommend Gmelius (already brought a few of my co-workers to the G-Side) and will continue to use it!
Pros
Reporting.
Ease of creation (templates, sequences, etc.)
Managing unsubscribes.
Cons
POLING !!!!! Please!
Using images/videos in emails (or maybe I'm not doing it right).
I wish the dashboard was easier to navigate -- can be quite confusing/frustrating.

Lead generation for nearly any kind of business. I can't even explain how easy it is to set everything up. I also love that I can send test emails to myself. Sequencing and Scheduling out follow-ups help me stay on top of potential sales, especially smaller sales that aren't always on my radar 24/7. Sending post-sale information on a regular basis. Basically, Gmelius works for the entire sales cycle, pre to post.
We use Gmelius to communicate information to each other. It has various features like assigning emails to your colleagues, which makes delegation of work easier. It is used by two departments. You can leave notes, assign emails, and classify emails according to their subject. It makes sure no emails are missed out in the process. Apart from that, Gmelius has this cool feature of preparing draft emails. This feature is used when a fixed response needs to be used multiple times. It saves a lot of time, makes work efficient, and allows for fluent communication across teams.
Pros
Easy to assign and action emails.
Easy to add notes for a particular individual to action them without missing out on important details.
Ready to use templates can be designed for everyday responses to clients.
Likelihood to Recommend
Scenarios where teams use fix responses to get back to the clients. Situations where the email load in the inbox is high and assigning it is important so that nothing is missed. Notes need to be assigned to the email to provide some context to your colleague or manager.

Gmelius has been a lifesaver for my business for one big reason: templates. We have created a lot of templates for every email you can imagine that a client would need to see. Instead of the team repeatedly writing things out, they click the template and just type in the name. There are other features that I'm interested in trying out, too, but I haven't had the chance to yet. One of those features is the shared inbox feature, so my team and I can see what emails are coming in and out of the system and assign urgency depending on the sender. So far, Gmelius has been awesome in the 3 years I have used it, and I plan to keep implementing it to help my business grow.
Pros
Templates.
Sync with Gmail.
Read Receipts.
Cons
Easier access to dashboard.
Ability to edit email names more if a person's name doesn't match up with their Gmail account.

Gmelius is perfectly suited for making templates for emails to go out to clients. You can easily share the templates with your team, too, so that everyone has access to them. Gmelius also does a great job of tracking emails so you can confirm the information was received by clients. It is not great to send emails out directly from the mobile app or Gmelius itself, but as a plugin it's perfect.
We are using Gmelius on several small teams that each access their own shared email address. The Support Team uses one shared inbox that is set up as a ticketing system for instructor and program requests and needs. The media team uses the Trello integration and has the shared inbox set up as a ticketing system for media requests. The Accessibility team uses it to organize their inbox and track their projects. Multiple users are on each team and need to be in their shared inboxes simultaneously. Each team previously had to open separate windows to access their shared inbox and it was difficult to have multiple people logged in at the same time and label which email was for which person.
Pros
Shared Inbox Organization
Email Automation
Team Email Communication
Integrations
Support
Simple interface
Easy setup
Cons
Clarity on pricing options
Clarity on feature options between plans

Well suited for multiple users sharing one inbox, multiple teams using shared inboxes, managers needing to track responses, users needing to automate emails to customers, users needing to automate and organize email workflow, templates used for auto-responses or seasonal messaging, marketing teams, sales teams, support teams. It is less important if a shared inbox is not present on the team and each employee has their own individual email, there is no need for tickets, there is no need to label or organize emails for other team members to see.
We used Gmelius company-wide (as a small agency with only about 5-7 employees). As a PR agency, we needed a way to easily track who had been pitched for which clients, so we mainly used Gmelius for the labeling and inbox sharing features. Initially, we also used the campaign features to send email blasts, but Gmelius changed the services it offered for our level of membership, so unfortunately we lost access to that.
Pros
Tracking email opens
Email blast tool
Persistent customer service
Cons
Inbox sharing/labelling features
usability - could be more user friendly
Changing services/tools offered without warning

Gmelius has a lot of potential for businesses that need easy ways to share emails, labels, or inboxes. It is also good for those who send out press releases or other high-volume emails. Lastly, it's helpful for email tracking needs, such as pitching media and knowing whether to follow up based on if/when your emails were opened.
