Likelihood to Recommend
GlobalMeet is best suited for a single presenter or small group of presenters to provide information to a large audience.
GlobalMeet would be less suited for meetings that require lots of verbal interaction from the audience.
Our company uses GlobalMeet platform to host our quarterly investor calls - audio and presentation deck only, no live videos nor video streaming
Pros
It's very helpful to have a point of contact to manage communication and the event. We've worked with a few event managers over the years and they have all been great.
We've also had great experience during the production (e.g., pre-recording sessions for simlive events). All the production team members we've worked with have been professional and efficient.
Our main account contact has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is detail oriented and responsive. And we particularly appreciate his thoughtful follow-ups after the events to confirm everything met our expectations.
Cons
Presentation deck upload - we upload PPT deck for our webcast and sometimes the fonts and formatting become different from the original deck after processing. This remains the case even if we upload the PPT as image. It would be helpful to have an option to upload PDF for presentation decks, or enhance the "upload as image" function to ensure no formatting change.
Whitelist - currently whitelist can only be updated by GlobalMeet team for our event. It would be helpful if we can have that function in the event admin portal for users, or allow us to see who are on the allowed/whitelist for the event.

well suited for quarterly investors calls (with or without video), and for webinars where one wants more cosmetic / layout controls than a Zoom webinar.
The business I support uses GlobalMeet primarily for Webcasts that potentially have more than 1k attendees. The most high-stakes use case is the global webcasts hosted by the CEO that pack around 6k- 7k attendees, even more in rare cases. The main problem that GM addresses is MS Teams' limitations. With GM, you have more control over the whole production point of a larger webcast. I don't think we use the full capability of GM, tbh, but the main benefits are still there. Our primary use case is "connect C-Level MS Teams Call to GM Platform, start webcast and share slides". Also, of course, businesses love reviews, so the attendee data is rather lovely.
Pros
Customer Service (administrative).
Customer Support (technical).
We generally do not require much besides the technical setup and some support regarding branding. All of that is flawless.
Cons
MS Teams inter-operability (I know that Microsoft is the main culprit here, but still...)
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited for webcasts that need high control over attendee view/experience without high participation. It is less appropriate for strong attendee participation, like Q&A with spoken participation of the questioners. Besides that? I mean, if you need a large audience capacity, there are few tools/services better suited than GM, in my experience.
I have worked with Global Meet for many years in 2 ways. 1.) I hire them to work with my clients for streaming, registration, analytics services. 2.) I provide them video services for the events that their sales team sells. We work with them all over the midwest, Every job goes smoothly as their team is very efficient with planning and follow-up.
Pros
Planning for remote productions.
Communication with all parties involved.
Client satisfaction for events streamed.

They are easy to work with and successful in what they do for clients.
Our organization used GlobalMeet Webcast for a two-day global surgical meeting of approximately 1,100 surgeons and other healthcare professionals. It was an all-in company activity that included all members of our society + industry partners + prospective members. This was in the height of the global pandemic so we were super stressed about selecting a vendor quickly and with our needs appropriately met - GlobalMeet Webcast met that need.
Pros
Careful planning - they were thoughtful and thorough in helping us plan our needs
Reflexive to requests - as we had suggestions or requests, we felt they listened and responded
Good culture - it feels like they have a strong company culture that resonates well in supporting each other and clients.
Cons
[I feel like] they didn't have all of the features some of the common platforms (like Zoom or GoToMeeting) have available and that was a big problem for us.
[I feel] their pricing structure felt like it was kind of tacky and less functional.

Their team was very hands-on and helpful in the set-up and execution of our meeting. I would recommend them, especially for first-time virtual meeting planners. They were thorough and thoughtful in the planning process, which made the execution smoother.
GlobalMeet is used as a conferencing system for a global clinical trial to conduct international training webinars and has spread to the use of our entire department to conduct meetings worldwide thus limiting the need for travel.
Pros
GlobalMeet surpasses competitors by having the same login and password for all meetings, the room IDs do not change therefore it decreases confusion on meeting location and how to join a conference.
The polling feature is helpful for anonymous voting and increased participation.
The ability to "promote" other users to "drive" presentations is key for presentations with multiple presenters.
The chat feature and ability to mute all participants helps when there is a large audience.
Cons
Although I love the polling feature, there are a few kinks that could be worked out, as the dialogue box at times interferes with the presentation.
Have the "guest" and "host" bubbles bigger when logging in, sometimes guests get confused and log in as a host accidentally thinking they need a password to join.
A kink I've noticed lately, is not being able to upload presentations forcing me to use screenshare. I'm not sure if it's a naming convention or why this error occurs.
I have limited use in the webcam feature as when using it in the past there was a serious lag time making it difficult to communicate, but, it could've been my internet speed as well... I'll have to give it another shot.
Likelihood to Recommend
GlobalMeet surpasses my needs for international webinar meetings and I frequently recommend using it to colleagues seeking less travel.
