Increase Team Reach with Social Media Quickly and Efficiently

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I started using GaggleAMP to increase my business social media presence which was really lacking. Although I have a small team, and sometimes even function as just two or three, it's a great incentive for these members who are otherwise prone to not being fully invested in my business growth if they are working part-time, for example. The point system is a great one for incentivizing members though, and it also creates a healthy bit of competition and community even among the 3 or 4 of us, as well as introducing us to a variety of social media presence methods beyond what each individual may be comfortable with.

Pros

  • Suggests activities that are relevant to the social media outlets we use
  • Provides a point system to incentivize member interaction on social media
  • Provides in-depth reports that are useful for tracking outreach outcomes

Cons

  • A more guided approach to getting started independently aside from the demo
  • Some parts of the website could be a little more organized in terms of format and layout mostly
  • Explanation of certain terms that may be unfamiliar

Most Important Features

  • Creation and scheduling of activities
  • Streamlining of communications between various media outlets
  • Reporting features that show trends and results of activities and campaigns

Return on Investment

  • Overall, ROI has been very positive and had a positive impact on engagement as well.
  • We went from content creation of 0-2 per week and engagement of 0-20 per week to 4 times that amount
  • Boost in sales of 1.4 K per month on average

A Great Way to Get Your Employees and Business Partners Engaging on Social Media...but It's Not Cheap

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

GaggleAMP has become a critical part of our Global Social Media program, and we constantly encourage employees and partners to utilize the tool. A link to sign-up is provided to most new hires during onboarding/training. The product helps to address internal communication challenges and an often unfamiliarity with Social Media in general by providing approved content and enabling an easy-to-use method for sharing relevant business information.

Pros

  • Customer support.
  • Integration with SAML/2-Factor solutions for added security.
  • Reporting.
  • Gamification.

Cons

  • Activity notification emails are sometimes late in reaching peoples' inboxes.
  • Sometimes activities just fail to work and an IT ticket is needed.
  • GaggleAMP has to explore more ways to get ahead of API issues.
  • Some pages on the new dashboard aren't as intuitive.
  • Activity notification emails could use some design work.

Most Important Features

  • Engagement reporting and metrics.
  • Regular trainings provided to users.
  • Post scheduling.

Return on Investment

  • Take this with a grain of salt, but our company's all-time CPC (cost per click) savings is $1.85 M ($184,116.95 last quarter).
  • GaggleAMP has become an important part in getting our employees and partners to engage with us on Social Media more regularly - a great tool for getting information out there.
  • Brand awareness.

Happy GaggleAMP admin + user

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We selected GaggleAMP to help us expand awareness for our company and also grow our engagement numbers across our social media channels. Before using the tool, the process of having employees share content to social was much more manual and typically entailed copying and pasting links into Slack and/or email with no tracking or incentives to get employees to click and like or share the content. Now, with the tool, we are able to track and see our engagement across our channels, and the leaderboard introduces some friendly competition to help keep our employees inspired and incentivized to support our efforts.

Pros

  • Slack integration is easy.
  • Notifications of new content is solid.
  • Ability to accept or say "no thanks" helps us see what employees are more likely to share.

Cons

  • Speed - sometimes it takes a while from when we post something on LinkedIn until we see it's available in the tool to share.

Most Important Features

  • LinkedIn liking and re-sharing of posts.
  • Slack integration.
  • Email notifications.

Return on Investment

  • We just hired a social media agency, who did an audit to tell us our engagement numbers are much higher than typical B2B tech companies they start working with.
