Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use G2 Seller Solutions to manage our company profile, generate client reviews, share marketing content as well as build our brand reputation. We also use the G2 quarterly reports to showcase our positioning in the market against other competitors. We are in a crowded market and this helps us continue to differentiate.

Pros

Cons

Badges are overdone - too many
Reports have a ton of detail but almost too much to get true insights
Algorithm changes and the need to continuously add reviews

It also helps to differentiate us against our competitors. We can use the reviews and reports to help solidify our positions or even validate some of the claims we make. Our sales team can use this to help during their sales process as well. That helps them provide third-party validation.

G2 Seller Solutions is very good at providing vendors with a review platform with all the basic capabilities you could need where you can impact large audiences that can generate a good volume of visits to your product pages. Thanks to this, you can get reviews and intent data from those visitors that can be used in many different ways. But have to work hard to succeed, so if you have a review program in place with a dedicated team, it is ideal for you; but if you don't have the bandwidth to invest time in this, you will probably get all the potential from this platform.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It's amazing to allow potential buyers to understand more about our brand with all the customer reviews. On top of that, it helps with marketing and allows us to understand which areas of our product can be improved, and what they like most about our product.

It also allows my brand to take a look on what is out there in the market and how we compare with them.

Being able to download data (Eg. reviews to consolidate and discuss with the broader team on what can be improved on)
Certify the people reviewing the products are people in the same industry.

Overall, it's a great tool to create brand awareness and get reviews on your own brand and from there find ways to improve and understand which areas of the brand the buyers like.

It helps a lot with lead generation as potential buyers will be able to see the reviews of our brand from other buyers and come to see whether this is something that they are looking for.
