Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Thanks to FreshMail in my organisation I have been able to design and launch campaigns for the internal team of the organisation as well as for clients. I think the great thing about FreshMail is its ease of use thanks to its templates and how easy it is to track results in real time. It is very valuable to be able to see how certain campaigns are progressing and what reach is being generated.

  • Great user experience

Cons

  • Improve the integration with other platforms
  • The basic plan doesn't allow to many features
  • Importing and exporting data is not very intuitive

The platform works very well for sending emails with simple layouts, it also allows you to keep track of the opening data of those who receive the emails.

The platform could improve its ability to modify databases and integrate with other platforms in order to automate some of the marketing actions.

Marketing automation is what we use Freshmail for, enables us to efficiently reach out to prospects and warm leads and automate a lot of our marketing tasks while also managing spam and having up to date marketing content.

  • Location targeting to filter people based on their region
  • Auto responding to questions and similar inquiries related to content
  • Engaging and building interest in the product

Cons

  • Better integration with Google Analytics
  • Having some advanced automation tools to enable more outreach
  • More comprehensive analytical data to make decisions on what's working

Likelihood to Recommend

Reaching out to a cold list and sending some well curated content to market to them and auto responding to their questions is where Freshmail performs really well, it does have a lot of options which other competitors do not. It has to get better at showing analytical data to make relevant decisions on campaigns and be able to act on it.

Easy to use and lots of cool advanced features

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Honestly, I don’t see much difference between one system and another but FreshMail does stand out to me for one reason. Over the past 7 or 8 years I have used four different email marketing systems and FreshMail has by far the best customer service of any of them. If you are getting any real use out of your email marketing, you will need some help or have a problem from time to time. FreshMail has only customer support that gave me the impression that there was actually someone looking into a problem and they always got back to me and stayed in touch until the problem was resolved.

Pros

  • I know that different email marketing systems have different deliverability rates that depend on the servers that are being used. I was irritated that I had to waste money on sending messages that were getting labeled as spam. Since switching to FreshMail I now have much better results.

Cons

  • My campaign got delayed because of their moderation process. When I wrote them to ask what was going on they said they have some kind of anti-spam moderation process that was taking longer than usual.
  • I don’t like the fact that you can’t edit your template in HTML in their editing program (FreshMail Designer). This is probably isn’t a big deal for most people but some of us like to take over every detail of the template.
