Facebook Live makes live events happening

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Facebook Live helps in covering events and programs. It provides live feeds and online real-time video. We can increase the engagement of the audience and increase the audience size and location with the help of Facebook Live. Facebook Live breaks the boundary of the audience, and it can cover the event on a global level, making a local event into a global one. We are able to generate leads across the globe by reaching audiences across various geographic boundaries.

Pros

  • Global coverage
  • Real time video
  • Increase captive audience size
  • Increase reach of the event
  • Storage of data and video

Cons

  • Internet connection issues
  • User friendliness
  • Graphical user interface
  • Audio video synchrony

Likelihood to Recommend

It's best suited for global events or events where a large audience has to be covered. It doesn't suit small and local events where it just becomes a tool to capture video. It will be helpful to cover a maximum audience when it is relevant to audiences across different regions. Facebook Live makes the event a national or international event if used properly.

We use Facebook live anytime we are releasing a new product or update. We also use Facebook live to broadcast our internal zoom calls for those who can't join the call.

Pros

  • Live Broadcasts
  • Webinars
  • Broadcasting information
  • Conversational Chat
  • Prompting reactions

Cons

  • Can be glitchy
  • Doesn't integrate well with every software
  • Comments glitch

Likelihood to Recommend

Facebook live works well if you want to broadcast a meeting, webinar, or event to a lot of people, giving them an opportunity to interact in the comments. If you're looking for something more internal or don't want the information to be public, don't use Facebook live. It's great for broadcasts!
