EZLynx Agency Management Is A Great Software

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a small independent insurance agency and we use EZLynx Agency Management for almost all of our day to day operations as we find its been the best software for our needs. We are able to keep all customer accounts up to date and all documents stored in one software. We find its very user friendly.

Likelihood to Recommend

Is user friendly but is a little pricey for a small agency. We use it for most of our operations. But is easy for new users to learn. Could update some of their training modules but compared to other programs they do offer more than some and is being updated routinely.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As an independent insurance agency, we use EZLynx Agency Management to quote all our carriers at the same time for each customer call we have. It makes it easier to get a general idea of what the rates will be instead of going into each carrier site individually for quoting, which can be quite time consuming. From there, we are able to select who shows the best rate of our carrier options and port the information directly to the carrier site.

  • Easy port over options when a carrier is selected
  • Easy to manage existing policies

Cons

  • Sometimes, the system times out and we have to rerun the quote.

Likelihood to Recommend

It makes quoting multiple carriers a breeze. It gives us real-time estimates of what the customer's rate will be, which allows us to choose the best carrier for them.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use EzLynx as our main agency management system to keep all our clients' information and documents stored. Every department in our agency uses EZLynx. EZLynx addresses many of our needs from policy and document management to accounting and billing. One of the bigger problems EzLynx solves is the commission payout. Our prior system was archaic and required quite a few man-hours to process commissions.

Pros

  • EZLnyx has an integrated rater which is especially nice when insureds call and ask us to requote a policy renewal.
  • Downloading from carriers is easy and a snap.
  • Commission payout system is the easiest I've seen with any management system.

Cons

  • The integrated homeowner rater is weak and takes too much time to put in the info.
  • None of the raters that we use, QuoteRush and Applied Rater, offer exporting capability to EZLynx.
  • Can be a little costly if start adding all the capabilities.

Likelihood to Recommend

EZLynx seems to be well suited for any size insurance agency. The capabilities seem to be endless with the only caveat being the integrated homeowner rating system. EZLynx fits all the categories that a management system should fit for any size insurance agency. About the only scenario I can think of that EZLynx would not be appropriate would be doing the financial books for an agency, but than again, what agency management does.
