It's great to have a platform to be able to handle day-of-event messaging & for quick check-ins with people. Emails get lost or may not be in someone's 9-5 job; texting is the easiest/quickest way to get to people.

The opt in options for those we wish to communicate. The process is simple and it allows our students to decide to keep receiving the information or not.

I like the ability to create different lists, however, the ease of creating a second list with the same numbers appears to be challenging.
Customer service was a challenge, as the multiple times I called to discuss messages being delivered the response was "It is the provider, nothing we can do about that.."

Well-Suited: Reminders and promotion work very well, and the ability to craft the text to the specific audience and make the message clear is fantastic. However, to add the emoji, it appears that you have to utilize the AI version to get the colorful texting to come through.
We use EZ Texting to keep our customers up to date on UI releases and new products. It is a great way to connect with customers because texting almost ensures they see your message. It's hard to get our customers' attention by email. They are busy and receive lots of emails from many other similar businesses. Texting allows us to stand out and ensures our customers are aware of the amazing things we are developing to help them.

I think EZ Texting is perfect for small businesses looking to get into using text campaigns. I may not recommend it for a larger enterprise with a large/capable IT and Marketing division because it does lack features that more dynamic options have - however, it can integrate with other platforms, so maybe larger companies would choose it, and I'm wrong. That said, the things that make it maybe not great for a larger enterprise make it great for small businesses and start-ups just getting into text. It's been a good solution for us after running into complex issues with other solutions that became a huge entry barrier.
I used EZ Texting for an event - XO Summit - where 50+ of our portfolio CEOs come together for a 3-4 day summit. I was able to send pre-event, during event and post event details to them seamlessly! I categorized them into groups, etc. I also had a separate group for our staff. I was able to send to the specific stakeholders really quickly, and preview which was a big deal to me. Pictures and links were easier with EZ Texting than other options I've tried as well!

We loved it for our event. This is not likely your target customer use case, but we loved it!! We were able to schedule to send all of our reminders, locations, event details etc!
We use EZ Texting to send out reminders for new students, follow up with demo students, reach out to families about makeup classes, and occasionally send out promotional texts.

I wish I could filter more with the groups such as send to group A, but remove anyone who is also in group B.
The copy and paste feature has never worked for me in regards to uploading contacts. Instead, I have to create a CSV and manually remove all ()- and spaces for it to be compatible. This is a very time-consuming extra step.

It is convenient to have a text service that multiple users can access, but I find that it is over-priced and has too many limitations. When I first joined, there was not an additional charge for MMS, and so this change tripled in price for me very shortly after I joined. I also find that the limited number of users (in my current package) is unnecessary and feels like just another way for EZ Texting to make money. While it is functional, it does not feel like a customer-focused business.
We use EZ Texting to get the most important messages out to our membership. We find more and more that members get inundated with emails, and texting seems to be a better way of communication. EZ Texting is pretty easy to use.

We're a housing authority. We have implemented EZ Texting to inform residents of: upcoming events, appointment reminders, service provider announcements, organizational announcements etc... We believe it will allow for us to keep them more up-to-date on any organizational updates/closures. We schedule programming with outside vendors, we will be able to provide them any updates from the providers

It can help in a crisis situation; however, it would be more appropriate to have someone call by phone. Perhaps EZ Texting can enable a facetime like option It's very well suited to inform our residents if we have severe weather and must close. Also, if there is mechanical issues going on or any other emergency situation to notify them of what's going on
We use EZ Texting primarily as a communication platform for all of our tenants and it’s great! We have four locations, so it’s a time saver for us to easily choose from contact groups. We also use the platform for marketing campaigns and it has been a huge help! Going through contacts can take a very long time and having available groups to click on really saves us from hours of work.
I work for a church and we use EZ Texting as a marketing tool. We send out over one hundred texts every month with EZ Texting to let local families know about upcoming events that our church is hosting. EZ Texting has been one of the most effective ways of getting information into people's hands quickly.

Sending promotional content to more than twenty people is definitely a task for EZ Texting. When you are communicating with people outside your organization and you don't want to give out your personal information, this is a great platform that allows you to do just that. For smaller-scale communication, this platform is not necessary.
