Expensify Has recently been implemented to Digitize a previously manual expense reporting system. As a small company, like many others, our expense reporting included photocopying paper receipts, filling out a spreadsheet, and submitting a manually assembled PDF document to be reimbursed. This was a time-consuming process that introduced many potential points of mistakes.
Pros
The ability to email multiple digital receipts and have them accepted into Expensify with many of the most common fields recognized, is a huge time saver.
The user interface is straightforward and makes categorizing expenses and adding any missing information very straightforward.
The ability to quickly review past expenses, deleted receipts, and submitted reports is very useful.
Cons
Adding expenses related to mileage, especially trips that are duplicates of trips that have happened in the past, could be streamlined.
Likelihood to Recommend
For general expense reports, especially for those people who travel frequently, Expensify is a great time saver, simple to use, and straightforward.

The company I work for was using a spreadsheet system which was slow and open to errors; we also had to take photos of, and upload receipts individually. The whole process was a nightmare for both the company and the employee. Expensify addresses this by taking care of everything with just a few clicks.
Pros
Saves literally hours of my time, and I'm sure that of my employers too.
Removes errors (I always used to make at least one mistake!)
The user interface is intuitive - no training needed.
Cons
The app is a little slow uploading receipts, however you can keep on adding them and it will eventually catch up so is not a big deal.

Any employee or employer who has to submit/receive expenses would benefit from using Expensify.
