I actually use Elementor for my personal consulting business to maintain my business' website. They were recommended to me by the people who developed my website. Elementor allows me to easily manage the site, update it as necessary, and stay current with WordPress versions. It also updates automatically meaning that I have very little management to do with it.
Pros
Provides access to my website so that I can make modifications.
Stays updated automatically and frequently.
Has a very simple, but robust interface.
Cons
Maybe they could improve the UX of the product.
Maybe some deeper dive documentation.

I think that if you have a WordPress website either built by you or by someone else, Elementor is a great way to maintain that site. For example, let's say that your rates have changed. Elementor makes it very easy to go in and update the rates on your website. Or if you want to update the images on your site, Elementor facilitates that as well.

Elementor is my go-to software whenever I need a new website or landing page because they have a ton of awesome premade templates to choose from and they're easily editable from the drag and drop interface which makes the process of launching a new website or landing page for a marketing campaign way easier.
Pros
Drag and drop builder
Rich templates library
Easy to deploy and edit pages
Cons
the more templates they can add the better, if they can add more quality templates it's going to be even better for us

I would recommend Elementor to every beginner looking for a code-free solution to launch a website or build a landing page in any industry because it's simply the best website builder in WordPress, the free plan is enough to get started so there's literally no reason to try it, I started with the free plan then I bought a pro license to get even more awesome templates.
Elementor is being used specifically by the individual that is in charge of updating and setting up the website. It had allowed our organization to design and set up a website without having to bring in a third party.
Pros
Easy drop and drag design
Good pricing
Lots of pre-made templates
Cons
The ability to add an Instagram feed into a page without having to install a plugin
Better support
More flexibility within built-in features, such as calendar, blog posts, etc.

It is great for an organization that is small, needs a simple website, or doesn't have the time/money to set up a website. I don't think I would recommend it for a large organization that needs a lot of details on its website.
Elementor is the key tool used to manage the content on our non-profit's website that is powered by Wordpress. For a small non-profit, this is the perfect tool to get a beautiful and professional looking website designed with little to no experience with web design or programming. Elementor is very flexible with it's great list of widgets, which makes it extremely easy to customize the website the way you want it.
Pros
Lots of available widgets which are easy to use
Drag and drop for easy design
Lots of online support and tutorials to help learn how to use Elementor.
Cons
Wordpress is quickly adopting some of the core features of Elementor.
It's been a while since new widgets have been released.
Doesn't always work with every Wordpress theme available.

Elementor makes website design extremely easy, so the it is certainly suited for those who are not developers. It is a Wordpress plugin, so you will need to be running a Wordpress site. You don't have to know PHP or CSS, and that makes it easy to get up and running with a great looking website for cheap.
Elementor doesn't support some of the more complicated web features that you see on websites these days, but those are usually professionally designed and coded. Elementor is not going to be a great fit for those who have the skills and expertise to edit Wordpress' code directly.

We needed to build a new website quickly. We needed it to work well, be built easily, and have the capability to be updated and managed by people who aren't "web developers. We were able to create a site that was largely pre-built, but were also able to make it feel like a custom site.
Pros
Intuitive WYSIWYG editor.
Fast loading for end-user.
Flexible templates and sections to use.
Cons
Adding additional pages and maintaining consistency could be easier.
Newer user may have trouble knowing how to set proper "slugs".
Section templates, once changed, don't update across pages.

Elementor is perfect for the person who has some eye for design and site usability. Other resources like Squarespace or Wix *could* help get a site up more quickly, but, in my opinion, would lack the control you gain with Elementor. If you're not "tech-savvy," I would avoid Elementor, but if you can find your way around new systems and have a very basic knowledge of html/css, Elementor is a powerhouse tool.
