Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Elementor to design and build websites for over 200 clients. It is the best wordpress builder we found while testing many others during the past 6 years. It is easy to use for new wordpress developers. It significantly speeds up the design process, for many smaller projects designing in software like Figma is even non necessary, you can start directly in Elementor.

Website building using a drag and drop editor
Editing the predefined styles using the custom css panel
Designing simple websites directly in the builder

Cons

More streamlined organization of settings in the editor
Better code completion in the custom css panel
Speedier editor loading and switching between pages

Likelihood to Recommend

Websites that mainly host content, need to be edited often and do not require very custom functionality. For clients who want a very stable system and have a bigger budget, custom theme development is still a better choice, but the gap is closing and Elementor seems to be going in the right direction.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used the Elementor built into the WordPress template, which we bought on Envato market, when building a company website. This is a solution for block-based website creation without coding. I used this in my department, but marketers then used the site and added new blocks to the pages through the builder.

Pros

No code solution to build website
Extremely fast page builder
Easy to use blocks builder

Cons

Need more settings for blocks
Need more built-in blocks templates
Need more intgrations with another services

Likelihood to Recommend

If you need to quickly create a simple website or landing page, and at the same time you do not want to crawl into the code and study a ton of documentation, the Elementor will help you. It is intuitive and has everything you need in its basic functionality.

If you want something sophisticated and beautiful, based on a unique design, it is best not to use an Elementor.

Pros

Variety of high-customizable widgets.
Amazing template library.
A lot of integrations with third-party themes and plugins.
Very easy to use.

Cons

Load time can be improved.
More options on SEO attributes.

Likelihood to Recommend

Elementor builder can be used for very small to very large websites. It can handle very complex designs, animations, and interactions. So, the size and complexity of the site do not matter at all.
