We use Druva Data Resiliency Cloud for backing up our Endpoints, Cloud Apps along with the virtual environment workloads. Our users keep deleting stuff on accident so Druva Data Resiliency Cloud helps against that, along with keeping any physical and archival drives. It also helps us have good protection against ransomware and other malicious attempts on our IT infra.
Pros
It doesn't require a lot of bandwidth or additional resources for either backups or restores.
It is easy to implement, the Endpoint and VM clients work flawlessly once set up.
The Geofencing functionality makes sure that certain backups can be restored from any remote location.
The FRQs are also looked into in-depth.

It is a great solution for organizations looking to store data on the secure AWS cloud. For our hybrid workloads, Druva Data Resiliency Cloud also offers a nice long term retention policy for data that we don't need retrieved anytime soon, making the solution simpler.
Being 100% cloud only, it is excellent for companies looking to go completely virtually hosted.
Cons
There's no option to delete the most recent Phoenix backups, which can be a little bit of an inconvenience at times.
The configured VMs aren't listed in the alphabetical order, which can be fixed.
Some backups need to manually being led through the firewall.
Druva Data Resiliency Cloud is providing my team with a very light-touch solution, giving us more time to work on other issues, secure in the knowledge that our backups are well cared for.
Pros
Ease of Use
Support provision
Reporting and monitoring is a very light touch
Restorations are a Dream
Likelihood to Recommend
It's fantastic for doing backups and quick restores and file level restores. I dislike very little; most of it isn't worth mentioning.
Cons
The things that I thought could be improved have recently been improved
Being able to backup Azure which is on their Roadmap
I can't think of anything else

We are a large organization with a need to protect critical and non-critical data. Going to Druva cloud we found it much easier to manage as well as see all our backup jobs and job statuses. Test restores have been successful and restore speed has been as fast or faster than our previous on-prem backup solution.
Pros
The Amazon Glacier for long term retention is safe and cheap.
Deduplication is super helpful in terms of saving credits for Phoenix.
Great single pane of glass for our o365 (in Sync) and infrastructure (Phoenix) backups.
Likelihood to Recommend
Druva is a good fit for scenarios where the IT team does not need to be very hands-on with the backup. Once you setup the backup policies the console pretty much manages itself. We also like the fact that the end user's work is not disrupted in any way when it comes to Druva client doing its job in the background. A future feature we'd like that Druva currently does not have would be auto enrollment of VMs when they are created within Hyper-V. Currently Druva has this option for other hypervisors.
Cons
Some more flavors of Azure and NetApp could be added to the offering.
Auto enrollment of new Hyper-V VMs into Druva.
The pricing is slightly higher than some competitors.

We use Druva to protect our end user devices and our SaaS apps along with our hybrid server workloads. Druva handles all these different requests nicely and without causing any issues. It also helps us set up easy and secure compliance and legal hold features to protect our data according to different layers of criticality.
Pros
The feature requests are worked upon diligently.
The product roadmap for the future looks exciting for example we're looking forward to Azure VM support addition.
We can set up geofencing features for where the backups and restores would take place.
Likelihood to Recommend
Druva seems appropriate for any industry which needs to protect its data safely and securely while staying as hands-off as possible in terms of the daily admin tasks.
It's pretty much a use and forget solution in terms of setting the backup policies up initially and then letting the product do its job.
Cons
The GUI has a bit of a learning curve in the beginning.
On-premises servers aren't backed up anymore.
Automatic login of clients sometimes doesn't happen for end users as a security policy.
We use Druva to back up data in our Microsoft 365 platform. This is a business-critical platform, but the tools that Microsoft natively provides for backup and recovery aren't enough to meet our needs & requirements. Druva allows us to meet & exceed those requirements with a tool that is easy to use and deploy.
Pros
Safeguards Data
Protects Against Ransomware
Allows Quick Recovery
Likelihood to Recommend
Druva is an excellent solution for backing up data in Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, etc. It can be rapidly deployed and used to protect and organization's data beyond the minimal protections natively offered by the M365 platform. We were able to have Druva connected and backing up the vast majority of our organization's M365 data within 24 hours of implementation kickoff.
As we migrate more data to M365, we were conscious that native M365 lacked the backup and restore capability of our classic file storage systems. We wished to replicate our on-premises restore facilities, both to enable restore of a file after deletion and removal from the M365 recycle bins, and also as a secondary repository for Druva Data Resiliency Cloud purposes in the unlikely event of any failure at a Microsoft datacentre.
Pros
User Self-Restore
User Management
Automatic onboarding of data
Likelihood to Recommend
I can only vouch for the use of my organisation, but for a large organisation it's very easy to set Druva Data Resiliency Cloud so it backs up any new content automatically. The user self-service portal is also very simple and intuitive to use.
Cons
When SharePoint sites are deleted, these show up on the dashboard as failures
Some backup failures each day when backing up huge datasets

We use Druva to back up our Microsoft 365 data. As we transitioned to a more remote workforce, the lion's share of current data was migrated from on-prem to Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. We wanted a solution that provided us with a good working backup of those systems in addition to backing up email mailboxes. We have a fairly low turnover rate in most positions, but some part-time positions see a higher rate, and we wanted to be able to transition licensing easily, but be able to retain certain mailboxes for longer if needed.
Pros
Intuitive dashboard
Easy license swaps
Quick restores
Good testing capabilities
Likelihood to Recommend
Druva is a great tool to use if a large amount of important data is contained in Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint and OneDrive. Druva provides great air-gapped protection from our main environment so that if we should have any issues with ransomware I feel confident that we'd be able to retrieve the data from Druva and get back up and running quickly.
Cons
Initial onboarding of users was trickier than expected
Licensing by GB/user makes the numbers weird

Originally, we were looking only at endpoint backups for our users' machines. After talking with Druva, we found it was quite easy to implement SaaS backups for our Google Workspace, which included Google Drive and Gmail. With the system we were previously using, the end-user data restore process is a bit of a nightmare and not end user friendly at all. Druva, on the other hand, is very easy to use and I no longer need to assist end-users with file restoration. Moving between machines - if the user's laptop is replaced, for example - is also very easy. When the user logs into their Druva account, the system notices a different machine and asks to either add the device to their account or replace the one already found. If replaced, it will ask if it should begin a file restore process. Backups are also a breeze as you can define different backup profiles to different sets of machines. These profiles are then pushed out to the assigned clients without having to mess with the end user's client install. Profiles can be either as granular or as simple as you'd like to use and can be applied across a number of platforms.
Pros
Simple end user restore process.
Easy to use, web-based Control Panel.
Assign different backup profiles to different sets of users/machines.
Upgrade client software remotely.
Wide range of retention periods.
Likelihood to Recommend
A good portion of my users are scattered around the country (thanks Covid!) so I needed a means of backing them up as well as keeping the client updated. Once the client is installed on the user's machine and they've logged into the application, profiles and client updates can be pushed to the device remotely. With Google Apps, so long as Druva has sufficient access to the organizational unit that contains your users, it's a "set it and forget it" situation.
Cons
Changes on the backend from Druva engineers can sometimes cause errors with Google Apps backups.
Backups on Windows machines can become stalled if the device has been up for a while without a reboot.

Druva Insync has solved our problem of endpoints data protection, and Hybrid Workload Solved our problem of servers, Virtual Machines, and database backup. We always found that backup was always available during any misshaping. It helped a lot when our campus data was almost gone in the flood. During the covid time when employees were working from home and never returned to the office we restored our data without any involvement of left employees. It helped us a lot to protect our data.
Pros
Support quality is really appreciable.
Steak documentation
Data Security
Reproting
Real time alerts
Likelihood to Recommend
It is best for endpoints and server back as we experienced. 100% data availability is really appreciating. Support quality is excellent. Druva support is just few clicks away from customers. There is requirement of improvement in remote deployment. There is need of any tool so that the client can be deployed remotely.
Cons
Auto deployment is very painful it needs huge improvemetn.
We are not able to use it in our remote locations because deployment not working. There should be Druva's own deployment system. It could be web based as well as email notification based.
Password requirement of 15 characters is difficult to remember

We are using Druva to backup all data within the organization. We currently have a mixture of physical and virtual servers and Druva backs up everything. We backup the data twice a day and they are very quick.
Restores are also quick. We can restore one file from within a virtual server, a complete virtual server, SQL database or files from physical server. Druva maintains as many backups as you want. We can restore the first daily backup from two weeks ago if we want. We do a test restores monthly on both physical and virtual servers, we have had no issues.
Interface is easy to understand and navigate.
Pros
Hands off backups - set it and forget it. notification sent if backup fails.
Restores are quick and complete - virtual server can be restored from certain date and time.

Help protect organization against cyber attack. Local backups are susceptible to deletions/encryption from malicious attack. Online backups are protected. Access to Druva requires DFA, so unauthorized access is difficult.
Cons
Would like the ability to delete backups. Over time, the number of backups will use up data limits. For certain servers, would like to be able to delete older backups. If a server has been upgraded and operating, would like to delete backups done before the upgrade to save space.
Would like DFA to use texts to phone. Currently DFA sends email with code.
