Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Divi since 2013. For me Divi is the best Word Press Page Builder out there. I use it to create webdesign layouts, to create responsive layouts, to build Wordpress templates and themes. I also use Divi's pre-built templates. I use Contact Form Divi Module to create contact form page on my clientes websites. I use it a lot!

Pros

  • Responsive design
  • Easy usability
  • Beautiful templates

Cons

  • Better translations
  • Flexbox
  • More options in contact form

Likelihood to Recommend

I think that Divi Builder is a great option for layouts creation in WordPress, but I do not think Divi neither similar builders are good for woocommerce.

Divi sped up our web pipeline.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Divi to build all our websites for clients. The software allows us to produce modern, compliant websites quickly and cost-effectively. Before Divi, a reasonably simple website would have taken us a few weeks to build, but now, using Divi, we can produce a website in a few days (or less). Changes are easier, and the client can update information. Divi has increased our profit margins and customer base.

Pros

  • Fast design and prototyping (faster to design in Divi than photoshop).
  • Easy to install, set up and get started.
  • Flexible design layouts.
  • Fast loading.

Cons

  • It would be great to have a bit more control over columns.
  • The AI button is in an inconvenient place and interrupts typing.
  • It would be great to be able to white label it.

Likelihood to Recommend

Divi is great if you build multiple websites for clients; however, I'm not sure it is cost-effective if you only make a single site.

Divi - Powerful and Flexible Theme for WordPress

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have 4 websites - 2 for my product brands, 1 for my personal brand, and 1 for my online courses and community. All the websites are powered by Divi and it makes my life easy to manage, update, and upgrade all of them. Divi also has a system called Divi Dash - which provides a nice dashboard to manage all the websites at a single point.

Pros

  • It has a huge library of layouts
  • It has "mini sites," a feature to get you start quickly
  • It has AI embedded that helps you create layouts in minutes

Cons

  • Divi lack a few integrations that are available with Elementor
  • Divi feels heavyweight (Divi 5 will solve this issue when it will be released)
  • Divi needs to update their Bloom and Monarch plugins

Likelihood to Recommend

Divi has a simple licensing policy. You pay once and you can use it on unlimited number of websites. Divi has a lot of ready to use layouts and even a feature called "mini websites" which can help you get started quickly. Besides this Divi has a great "market place" where you can find an unlimited number of plugins to extend Divi the way you like it or need it!

Probably the best, or at least one of the best, themes available for WordPress

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Divi is a WordPress theme that allows you to easily create attractive and dynamic websites, even starting from pre-defined templates. With Divi, extensive layout or CSS knowledge is not required to achieve great results.

Pros

  • Ease of use
  • Available elements
  • Customization possibilities
  • Access to pre-made resources

Cons

  • Some advanced features need to be complemented with other paid plugins (e.g., attachments in contact forms)
  • Certain Divi elements cannot be nested within other Divi elements (e.g., including an element within an accordion)
  • Customizing the header is powerful, but making the most of it is more challenging than the rest of Divi's options

Likelihood to Recommend

Divi is perfect for creating and maintaining attractive web pages in a short amount of time. It also allows the use of a global components library that enables making automatic mass changes.I believe it is suitable for any type of website, whether it's a corporate portal or a page focused on a specific purpose.

It may lack some advanced components for e-commerce or forms, but overall, it has support for everything and can be complemented with plugins that the community has developed specifically for this theme and are available on elegantthemes, although most, as is logical, are paid.

We use Divi with almost all our website developments - it allows up to easily create beautiful website for our clients

Pros

  • Front end builder easy to design
  • Exportable and importable layouts and templates
  • Integration with wordpress and many plugins
  • Individual template builder to apply to certain post types
  • Add on cloud to store and sync your own designs, code snippets
  • Can create your own api licenses for different websites

Cons

  • SEO integration is not the best
  • Divi AI image generation can be improved
  • for some good modules (divi add ons) a licence need to be purchased

Likelihood to Recommend

Divi is great for front end designers and website developers. It is great as it has a visual editor and little to no HTML or CSS code is needed to create and maintain a beautiful website - easy for clients to use. But is not limited because the advanced settings allow you to add your own code. There are many layouts that are free which can inspire you or you can use in your web page designs.

Divi Fantastic

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Web design is a key part of our business model. We offer it as a service and we build websites for internal use: Specific landing pages, growing the scope of our main site, and adding content. For all these things we're mainly using Divi to create it and put it together.

Pros

  • Design
  • Integration
  • compatibility

Cons

  • Updates can be a hassle, in fact, earlier today there was an update and it threw the builder out of whack. It's not the first time it has happened, but there's always a nuisance.
  • Some plugins that are Divi specific may not mesh well

Likelihood to Recommend

When you have to build a site that has very specific features, ie, uncommon functions, coding is always going to be the best way to go. Some E-commerce can function very well with Divi, but I still believe there are better builders for that. Everything else, Divi is perfect for.

Divi for Online Businesses that Mean Business

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Divi is the primary WordPress theme that my business uses on websites. Its builder is the backbone of nearly every website that I design or redesign for clients.

Pros

  • User-friendly builder
  • Simple text editor
  • Easy install
  • Streamlined maintenance
  • Impressive templates

Cons

  • The load time of the builder could be faster. On some websites it takes a long time to load, and may crash the page. (I believe they've said they're working on this stability issue.)
  • Warnings on updates if they're difficult for some sites to run. I have one website that has crashed more than once from Divi's theme updates. I always back it up before the update so I restore the site, but this is still a bit of an inconvenience.
  • Integrated (or more clearly marked) tutorials within the builder. I migrate site maintenance and ownership to clients after the site is complete and some could use refreshers within the builder on what happens where i.e. the difference between a section, row, module.

Likelihood to Recommend

Divi has cornered the market on a simple, straightforward WordPress theme that gives some major integrations and functions! Now that I've worked within it for years, I have a much better understanding of how robust a system it is. It takes some practice to get accustomed to but once you "get" it, it is so fun to use. I've shown so many small business owners how to use Divi and I feel that it is much easier to learn than other themes with functions that are controlled by coding or shortcodes.

I could play in Divi all day, and some days I do, depending on which projects I am working on at the time.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Divi as my web builder for my business website and also for my personal blog. As i need to create several Landing Pages for my marketing strategy, Divi help me with that. I was looking for an easy to use solution to do that and Divi was so far the best option.

Pros

  • Website building
  • Menu building
  • Landing page building

Cons

  • Usability, to be able to well use Divi, you need to have some kind of knowledge.
  • Interactivity with other tools: its a bit complicated and buggy some times.
  • Not that intuitive: for so many things, i had to search on Google or Youtube to learn how to do it.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Divi would be amazing for web developers or power users that know what they are doing, so when some bug or problem come out, they will be able to solve it in some way.

For creating a one page website, for example, Divi is amazing because they give you a lot of amazing layouts that you can perfectly modify.

I dont recomend Divi for non experienced people. Like i said, it needs to be someone able to manage or address any situation that come out while using this tool.
